Friendly and helpful staff on both the bar and at table, but to top it all off a fantastic menu and delicious food.
I could quite happily come back here every evening for the next two weeks of my stay and be lauding Auchterarder to all my friends based mostly on this one establishment.
The kitchen seemed to be a very happy workplace too, from what I could hear. This is clearly a good thing.

Staff so lovely especially Sarah. Food was honestly so good our family are Italian and the minestrone was authentic Italiano we loved it.

We had a delicious family meal here on Thursday 11.4.19. The staff were lovely, service was great. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant and to try the steakšand you can't forget to taste one of their cocktails.xx

Iām not a foodie, but have been fortunate to have friends who are. As such, Iāve had the good fortune to tag along and dine in a few exceptional places run by world-renowned chefs. These experiences have in turn provided me with some frame of reference for what good food is all about. With that in mind, I really must hand it to Milano Auchterarder - itās a hidden gem in an unexpected place. The restaurant only recently opened, and I took the opportunity to book when staying at the nearby Crieff Hydro. The dishes I tried at Milano were absolutely sublime. The food is something elevated where it almost approaches art. Everything was attractively plated but also served in ample portions. I left with my hunger sated and a smile upon my face. The wine and spirits menu also had incredible breadth, which is something one might not expect from the outside looking in at such an intimate venue. Iād also not be surprised if Milano Auchterarder becomes a top destination for Scotch whiskey buffs, as the bar offers easily over 100 malts, many of them quite rare and difficult to find. Iād highly recommend to anyone traveling through or staying in the area to book a reservation and judge for themselves.
Stunning Place, Beautiful Food, Lovely Staff. I had a bowl of minestrone soup for my starter, honestly socks were blown off, for my main I had a Pizza Con Carne, every mouthful was so tasty, the garlic mayo was home made and you could tell, it was the best garlic mayo I've ever had. My partner had the minestrone soup too and had a bolognese dish (not sure of the name) but she thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, the staff were very friendly. My partner and I visited this lovely restaurant on Sunday 3rd March, we just went for a little drive to Auchterarder and decided to pop in to the Milano for lunch, which then led on to coffee/cake lol. Gorgeous surroundings, helpful/friendly staff and locals too. The strawberry tart has to be the tastiest home-made cake I've ever eaten - superb! We are so looking forward to visiting for dinner next time. Would absolutely advise anyone to visit this restaurant because you will not be disappointed!
We enjoyed Milano very much. The food was good with a wide range of choices; the staff were friendly and efficient; the restaurant was full so the atmosphere was great and it was very reasonably priced. I ordered the Insalata Caprese and the Veal Milanese - both excellent.
Had a fantastic lunch here today. Service very good, without being ott. A la carte choices really extensive.
I had mussels in garlic and white wine to start with, they were plump and delicious, cooked to perfection. My husband had the fish soup in a lobster bisque. He was very pleased with the amount of fish and shellfish in it. Our son had the scallops and black pudding, which he thoroughly enjoyed too. We all chose the veal Saltombocca for our main course. It was served with creamy garlic mash and asparagus. Clean plates again, although I couldn't finish my plate as I was full. Good choice of wines too. Will be back again very soon. I wish them every success.
This is such a lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of Auchterarder. A lovely welcome when entering. With an extensive menu, there are dish choices for all tastes. I had veal escalopes with spaghetti carbonara (not on the menu, but I could not decide between 2 meals and the lovely waitress went to chef and he made a special for me). To say the result was outstanding is an understatement, clearly freshly made pasta. My husband had a glass of superb red with his fabulous lasagne . The biggest test for me though, was tasting the Tiramisu, which was heaven in every bite! I can, with hand on heart, absolutely recommend Milano Italian restaurant.
Service at this restaurant is second to none. My husband and I selected from the `a la carte Menu, what I can only describe as a superb meal, obvuously prepared by a professional, experienced Chef.
Presentation of each course was a work of art.
Selection of wines complimented each dish.
Afterwards, my husbsnd had a choice of Malt Whisky from one of the most comprehensive range I have seen. I was spoilt for choice at their extensive range of beverage available.
Throughout our experience at Milano we were entertained by the In-House singer, Colin.
A thoroughly enjoyable overall experience I would gladly recommend to everyone who likes fine dining.
