Went for Sunday lunch as a party of four. The service was excellent as was atmosphere with a pianist playing in the room. For a starter I had the Hebridean crab, my wife had smoked salmon which is cut at the table and two salmon to choose from. For main we all had the roast beef(medium, medium rare)
Unlike many of the reviewers here, we shared a delightful dinner at the Strathearn. Food was refined, service was attentive, prompt and personable, and the setting is stunning.
Sunday lunch in the Strathearn restaurant is quite simply perfection. The restaurant has recently had a full refurbishment including an elegant conservatory, which tends to be the most popular area in the restaurant to dine. We chose the three course lunch which was fabulous. Excellent service with
We had originally booked into the Andrew Fairlie but sadly this was cancelled due to a member of staff testing positive for C19. The hotel graciously rearranged our booking for the Strathearn.

Very tasty, especially the cherry dessert! Great breakfast here too

Lovely experience all round. Venison was excellent. Portion sizes were great, with the addition of sides resulting in a very filling meal. Staff were attentive and food was timely. Would return.
Love the Strathearn, although currently temporarily hosted in "The Glendevon" due to Gleneagles refurbs. Excellent meal, service and wine, as always....
Great food with very good service and a great pianist providing background music. And surprisingly well priced!
Beautiful restaurant
