We had a lovely lunch today in the Peter Beales cafe and the staff were all so great and kind when I discovered I had lost my keys. They all rallied around and put out a search team, I am very grateful. Definitely recommend it as a lovely place to shop, eat and explore the beautiful gardens. My daughter loves finding the fairy’s in the wildlife garden.

I had a lovely afternoon at Peter Beales looking for a particular Rose, 3 very lovely lady staff members went out of their way to help and find what we were looking for and did it with very lovely smiles. Oh and by the way we brought 4 others! And had them running around looking for them for us. Couldn't recommend their staff more, so friendly and helpful.

Had a very lovely shopping experience. We only went after watching gardeners world and purchased three roses recommended. OK they were expensive, but the selection was vast. On returning home we googled the roses and found online they were more expensive from other mail order companies. The plants were in very good condition, and we received lots of advise. if you go June time they have a wonderful display which would be worth seeing if even not buying anything.

What a fabulous venue, attended as s stall holder for a craft event. What a pleasure to work with friendly knowledgeable staff. This is a caring family run business which shines through from the inspirational gardens to walk around to the amazing selection of plants / shrubs and roses they have to offer. Really well worth a visit and do stay for lunch.

I went really to see the roses in the garden and there were many and so beautiful, experts on hand to advise in your choice if you wished to purchase, great nursery too with good selection of healthy plants. Enjoyed a relaxing cuppa and snack afterwards in the light and airy cafe, plenty of room and outside area too. great young children's area away from the garden and a wildlife area which was lovely to walk through

I've attended the Planting and Pruning Roses and the Clematis workshops - both excellent. We were very well looked after and were shown some inspirational ideas for using roses and clematis as well as how to plant and prune. I've taken pages of notes; now I just need to absorb all the information and apply it! The gardens are beautiful and get better every year. A great place to take visitors for a day out and an enormous choice of roses, clematis and perennials so good for shopping too!

We have purchased several roses from Peter Beales in the past and have never been disappointed. We just went to look at the gardens today and they were In full bloom and also some hidden extras like a wildlife garden and kiddies play area. Decided to stay for lunch, big portions reasonable price. So all In all a good visit and my husband has seen my next rose for my birthday this month

The rose gardens at the nursery are still spectacular even at this time of year! Well worth a visit and there is an offer on container roses, buy 2 get 1 free! Who could resist! Have a cuppa and cake on arrival, peruse the catalogue, make your choices then see if they are still available, and if not compromise! I did!

We had a lovely day yesterday. Beautiful gardens, beautiful plants. Wandered around the gardens before having a delicious lunch in the tearoom, and heading back out to purchase our plants. Only down side for us, is that we live in Sheffield so can’t get there as often as we would like.

I attended the Wildlife Activity Day with four of our Grandchildren and their parents. The children enjoyed the activities, Wildlife Garden and play area, although I think they enjoyed the freedom and safety of the beautiful gardens most of all 😄. The Staff were most attentive and friendly, as usual, and the afternoon was topped off with a lovely hot chocolate and very tasty cake Thank you all once again.

Disable parking outside the front door. Wheelchair accessible. Had to que to get a table so left my Grandma in the car to ensure I could get a table as they no longer take bookings. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We luckily got a table for 3. They held my table as I got my Grandma out the car. My Grandma had the Fish n Chips and dessert meal deal. Choosing the lemon and white chocolate tart for pudding. This deal was £15. She had a cup of tea at £2.50 I had a rocky road scone with jam and butter for £4.95. I had diet for £2.00 My mum had sausage roll for £2.50. Then a tea cake. Small seating when full. They have a marquee with more seating but was informed it was cold in there due to the weather so didn't go in there due to my Grandma. Friendly and approachable staff.
