Definately a different experience we loved every minute of it. The staff were more than welcoming and the food was amazing. Would recommend it to everyone.
The food is amazing, the service is second to none. If you're thinking about going somewhere nice and relaxing then this is the place you want to be. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. I've never been anywhere quite like it. Will absolutely be back!
such a lovely place with a lovely relaxing atmosphere, food was just simply beautiful full of flavour and well presented and the hosts were just amazing very friendly. I 100% recommend a stay here.
What a pleasant place to stay. The staff was very personal, the rooms comfortable and the food delicious. Everything one needs is within easy walking distance including bus and train stations.
Our second visit. A lovely, brilliantly cooked, unhurried meal. Not somewhere you go to just for a meal. This is a proper evening out.
Such a gem! Fantastic food that is top quality and cooked to perfection! Lovely staff. Beautiful house. Thank you, we will definatley dine here again x
Had a great weekend staying at Chapel House with my wife. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and ate like royalty. The restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night - no surprise when you looked at the menu and then tasted such fabulous food. This is affordable fine dining!
My wife had to visit the local butchers to buy some of the sausages we had for breakfast and Richard, the chef patron, was good enough to keep them in his fridge before we left on Sunday morning.
We have been looking for a midlands venue and now hope to have a celebration dinner with cousins who live locally and we are very pleased that the dining room can manage a private meal for 28, which is just right for us.
Richards sous chef, Shelley, proudly showed us the amazing petit fours chocolates she had made in advance of dinner on Saturday. There aren't many restaurants that make their own chocolates and they were well worth waiting for!
We will be back. It will not be just the once!
Lovely weekend stay. Food was wonderful, welcome super and relaxed and the rooms and ambience elegant. Thank you
Chapel House was very clean, comfy and full of character. Restaurant was lovely. In a central position in town but was very quiet
We didn't stay but went for an evening meal. The food was exceptional. Obviously a very talented chef who was confident enough to come into the dining room and ask the guests if they had enjoyed the food. It's been a long time since we have experienced that and it speaks volumes about the cooking.
We had a family meal here. It was my first visit.
The service was friendly and attentive throughout. A small example is the hostess saw that my elderly Mum might benefit from a cushion and quickly offers and fetched one.
The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect for our family birthday reunion.
The restaurant at Chapel House is outstanding. Our family met there for dinner on the eve of my nieces wedding. The decor and atmosphere is delightful, our meal was superb and the service impeccable. We would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly be back when we are next in the area. Thank you for making our evening together very special.
The Chapel House is one of my favourite places to eat. The speciality nights are some of the most interesting events I’ve been to. Richard is an amazing chef with great knowledge of both food and wine. Siobhan is a great host who is always happy to help and makes you feel very welcome.
Chapel House is a charming Restaurant with Rooms and my room was exceedingly comfortable with a super power shower. The garden was beautiful and it was lovely to be able to relax in it in the late afternoon sunshine. The owners went above and beyond the duties of hosts and no request was too great or small to be accommodated. The food was absolutely superb and I'm going to have to look far and wide to find a breakfast that will equal yours.
I've stayed many times over the last year. The food and drinks are always excellent, there is an extensive wine list. The hotel has a lovely character and the rooms are good. Completely different to staying (or eating) in a corporate chain, I always look forward to going back.
Gorgeous setting creating a lovely ambience. Wonderful food served by a friendly, helpful waiting staff. We look forward to our next visit.
A true polished diamond hidden next to the parish church in Atherstone. The rooms are very comfortable (even in this hot weather), the breakfast is amazing and the dinner in the evening was extremely well cooked and presented. The chef / owner presents a very varied menu using local suppliers. The wine list provides a varied choice covering all tastes and budgets. For those who appreciate fine wines don’t forget to ask to see the “fine wine list”. A must visit either to stay and/or enjoy a special dining experience.
Staying at the chapel house for an extended weekend away and cant say enough good things about our stay. Richard and Siobhan are the most welcoming hoteliers I have ever come across and noting was to much trouble. The hotel itself is comfortable and full of character with spacious rooms with all the normal facilities you would expect and most importantly if you are looking for peace and quiet this place certainly has it. The restaurant is also another plus offering a delicious selection of dinners with the fillet steak highly recommended and for those staying the breakfast is equally delightful with Richards prize winning marmalade a personal favourite. All in all a very lovely stay and would highly recommend.
Well my wife and I have never experienced anything like this before, it's absolutely wonderful, good room , spacious, and clean, the food is to die for, the owners are so friendly, you just thought that you had always been best friends, and all this 30mins from NEC, by the back roads without having to sit on the motorway in queue of traffic !!
Loved it
