Amazing atmosphere. Service great. Very clean! Food amazing. We will definitely come back.
Lovely staff. Decent pub grub. We live quite local and can’t believe we haven’t been here before. Really nice interior of pub too so feels comfortable and a lovely dining room. Thank you ladies. Great chatting too. Compliments on the Chef
Had a Sunday lunch, the pork belly was delicious, my partner had the lamb dinner, would definitely recommend, will be here for the steak & ale pie on Thursday. Staff are so friendly, and thoroughly attentive. Laura & James
Having just being here with my two daughters for a meal, it was superb. Food was extremely well presented, tasted amazing and service was friendly and efficient, highly recommend this place. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the desserts, wow 🤩 amazing.
Excellent lunch - lamb hotpot pie outstanding! Great taste, generous size and good value. Staff very friendly & draft beer choice good.
Great food we had a mixture of Sunday lunches and normal menu all were fantastic, the beef and lamb cooked to perfection, great sized portions. We spent most of the afternoon in the garden until the British weather forced us inside, which was even better, full of charming cosiness, great atmosphere,
Hello, I was there for Sunday Lunch last Sunday. One family were just leaving & told us not to eat here. I had a table for 8 people & everyone was very happy. Food was excellent. Some people are just a disgrace.
We were camping down the road and headed for the nearest pub. Lovely friendly place with fabulous pub grub. Best chips I have had in ages and officially the best chocolate brownie in the world (as rated by my 8 year old!). Nice garden, dog and child friendly.
The food at the horse jockey is fantastic. We had two courses last night the steak pie was so tasty and the cheese cake was the best I had ever had. The chief is so talented the staff were first class and friendly. Cost very good it's little gem.
Not been in here for many years. Went in for Sunday lunch after walk with a local friend. Had roast beef dinner. Was an average standard affair. Perfectly nice but nothing outstanding to comment on.
Wonderful place. Staff brilliant & awesome food. Priced well & great service. It's a MUST book venue for food. Recommend the Sunday roast & deffo the flat fruit cider!!
Turned up on a cider festival, place was packed. Had their famous carvery, plain, simple, not over cooked and fresh. Service was very welcomed by our lovely, short hostess. Brilliant. Have returned several times and it's always great service and meals
Chef myself, food service and bar are Amazing. Taking my Executive Chef Son and family ( worked for Heston ) for Sunday Lunch and evening meals. 5 star meat, presentation and Service. Thank You. X
TRY THE MACARONI CHEESE! Oh my, oh my indeed. The mac and cheese is insanely tasty. Pure ecstasy in a bowl. Although it's listed as a starter, it's quite the meal in itself. Topped with pulled pork or other options, it's amazing. Twinned with a functional and basic campsite out back, the H&J is a c
