Lovely Valentine's Day lunch here. The Bell offered a set 3-course menu which I have to say was brilliant in terms of choices, but also the food was incredible. I had the salt & Szechwan squid to start, lamb rump for main and a raspberry and chocolate melting bomb for dessert, all for £32 pp. Their main menu items looked good too, with many in the restaurant going for fish and chips, so will have this the next time I visit! Good selection of wines, and service was attentive. 👍🏼

Lovely looking pub and restaurant both outside and inside. We had a one year old with us and were immediately seated at a window table with curved seating, perfect for a clambering baby. Swift service from an amazing waitress who wrote none of our orders down but remembered everything exactly as we ordered and nothing was any trouble for her. Very friendly, so helpful but also extremely professional. Delicious food, perfectly cooked and hot. Have recently moved to the area and The Bell will be our go to restaurant in the future with guests and family. The only suggestion I have to improve the Bell is to cut some of the long stems on the trellises as you walk down the path as they catch people’s faces and are hiding the beautiful fairy lights.

Came here for a joint birthday meal. Was seated by a front of house member of staff she huffed when we asked to have some dirty glasses changed. Luckily we were then served by a nice gentleman who made our meal alot better. The food was delicious and would visit again but take a wide berth from this member of staff.

We absolutely love the Bell. It's absolutely fantastic. We have been here on many occasions throughout the years, Every time has been an absolute pleasure. The staff are always very welcoming and polite. The service is outstanding. The food, wow. The food is absolutely delicious. We have been here as meat eaters many moons agos, and it was always tender and well prepared. Now we are Pescatarians. They always have a good range of food for us and vegans. Nut roast, many more options. But they are always happy to adjust to your requirements. Nothing is too much for them. The Bell is always clean and tidy. And the decor is just beautiful, very well thought out inside and outside the grounds. I would highly recommend making a booking for the bell as the are normally pretty busy. But if you go online or ring in advance you shouldn't have an issue, Or you can just turn up if you're only intending on a few drinks. The day we chose was pretty quiet and a rarity. They have a beautiful outside eating and drinking area which is non smoking. In the summer time it's so beautiful. Flowers everywhere and trees. Even fairly lights to add an extra sparkle. On the opposite side off the garden they have benches where you can go and smoke if you choose. Also in the winter they have open fires which are just toasty and warm and very cozy. They also have rooms to stay in also. I cannot recommend the bell enough. You won't be disappointed. Go see for yourself and enjoy. 😊♥️

Top marks. Varied reasonable menu with exceptional warm welcomes. Had an overnight stay there by accident as the Holiday Inn had double booked. Rooms a little colder than I like but clean, super spacious and well laid out. Dinner was delicious.

We’ve been here many times and always a delicious meal with faultless service! Breakfasts here are fantastic and great value for money. We recently had the Festive menu and this was delicious as always! The roast Turkey was full of flavour and we enjoyed all the trimmings too- there’s always plenty to go round. The staff are always upbeat and helpful. Special thanks to Sophie who served us last.

Fantastic service, even on a busy evening. Very good food with decent portion sizes - enough to satisfy, but leaves room for dessert. Recommend the mocktails even if you're not a non-drinker, they don't feel like a compromise. Staff were very friendly without being obsequious. No troubles with parking either. A nice way to spend an evening, and for a very reasonable price too.

Newly to the area me and the family are amazed that we have this wonderful establishment to enjoy over and over again right on our doorstep. Well done team!! The Rangers.

Had a lovely lunch with my partner today! Our waitress Charlotte was lovely, so friendly and happy to help in anyway possible - she really went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one! It’s always nice to have a waitress with a smile!! My partner and I both had such a lovely time. Have been to the pub many times and it’s always such a lovely atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back.
