The food was great, and the service was good. Hanging kebabs are lovely. Is a lovely county vibe, especially in the winter with fire on. Gave a 4 star as I felt prices have gone up a lot since I visited last Christmas.
Sunday lunch - hanging kebabs and roast dinners, portions were small - medium. Desserts were good, well presented and tasty. Lovely space outside for kids too with marquee. Expensive but would recommend

Hanging kebabs are more than a novelty! Fairly expensive for what it is however and only chicken options available, not other meats as it used to be.
Sunday roasts were great sized portions and definitely created some food envy
A cosy, homey pub. The sort you'd like to make your local. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and lovely staff. Excellent value for money, I expected the bill to be at least 20% more than it was. Definitely on the list for another visit.
A delightful thatched pub in a quiet location in the village of Aston Clinton near Aylesbury. Cozy small restaurant with an excellent menu. Snacks start at £8.00 and the average price of a meal is £15.00. I had an excellent pulled pork baguette in a Brioche roll with coleslaw and chips with a small salad so thoroughly recommended. There is a interesting outdoor seating area with couches under a large tented awning which looked interesting. There is an unpretentious bar for locals so it caters for everybody well worth a visit
By chance found this on Google when search for a pub on the way home from a National Trust. We would not have found it without the aid of maps. Nice welcome seated inside which had character.

Fairly extensive, I had the pie of the day, beef and ale, my partner had the ploughman’s it was a large plate of cheese, pickles and apples - delicious. My daughter had two starters, pate and mushrooms on sourdough toast p, causing food envy on my part,

Wonderful food, the hanging kebabs met every expectation. Friendly service made us feel welcome, certainly going back again.
Great place to take the family in a Sunday. Service could have been quicker and friendlier but perhaps they’re short staffed. They had a man making balloon animals in the garden. I had the chicken roast which was 7/10. Servings were enormous!

Friendly and professional team from start to finish. Very helpful throughout our Sunday meal and the food was very good ! And of course a Fullers pub so great beer on pump . Great value for money and a good combination of different areas to sit in. From old pub, to new conservatory to covered marquee on patio and large garden and play area for children 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
