Take a step back in time with this wonderful building. I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of food on offer and even more so by how delicious it was and the portion sizes! Highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem. Luxury afternoon tea available but requires pre booking

Came across this beautiful tearoom by chance just now. Historic setting not far from a duck filled pool set amongst the most verdant wood. What a breath of fresh air followed by a slice of key lime pie and a coffee. Perfect rainy day pick-me-up!

Our large party was catered for with no hassle. We had prebooked which is a must for a large party. Service was very good and not too long to wait from ordering to serving. Reasonable menu with salads, sandwiches etc. and larger meals to choose from. Was busy which meant it was also quite noisy but this didn't impede on conversations. Was that good we're going back next month!! Thank you.

Its always a fabulous breakfast at Damhouse. They cater for our preference of serving too which is very kind! Everyone is always so lovely, the food is always quick and delivered piping hot to our table with a smile.

It's a lovely place for a quiet gentle stroll, either with your dogs or children. That's a small lake with ducks and other wildlife. Lots of trees. Places to sit and reflect. The cafe is there so you can have refreshments, coffee and cake and light meals. Dogs are allowed in the courtyard but not inside the cafe. So bear in mind when it's raining, snowing or really cold you will have to sit outside.

Situated in a beautiful woodland setting with a small housing estate arround the edge, a lovely place to wander and take photos enjoying the birds and ducks. The food is very well presented and apportioned, seating is cosy and pricing is moderate. Drink selection can vary throughout the seasons and there are a choice of classic cakes for desert. Service was speedy and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit, take a short detour and eat here instead of Bents if you're planning to go to the garden centre.
