Fantastic little coffee shop, they cater for gluten-free really well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only got takeaway sandwiches, cake, and coffees, but they were absolutely delicious. They have a freezer full of homemade ready meals that we bought a few of and are looking forward to
Great food at a reasonable price. Service was very good. The soup was lovely and the sausage rolls were very fresh. The cakes look lovely too (didn’t see any fruit scones available though - would be a great addition). There are breakfast rolls available and salads. Dogs aren’t allowed inside the caf
Stopped in for a sweet treat, delicious Nutella crumble slice and the nicest raspberry scone we've eaten! Will definitely be back!
Had a very nice lunch snack here. The staff was very friendly and even made a small side salad that wasn’t on the menu. Thanks!
Yum! Superb home-made Bakewell tart and soya cappucino, toilet facilities available and perfect mid walk spot. Lovely staff.
Excellent little village bakery. Offers a good variety of both savoury and sweet baked goods, with all we sampled being delicious. Good amount of seating both inside and outside the shop. Prices did seem a little high (£9 for 2 bottled drinks and a sweet slice), however the quality was fantastic.
Staff are super friendly (and brilliant at what they do), food and cakes are incredible. Anywhere that can accommodate almost 100 cyclists at the same time without losing their minds is 5 stars! Can't wait to go back and try some more of the cakes.
Had breakfast here before our walk last week. Proper yummy sausage in my bap, great coffee. Best of all was the coronation chicken roll we had for our picnic lunch. Absolutely delicious. Thank you
Lovely little cafe. Highly recommend the Sausage and Blue Wensleydale ciabatta sandwich, and the banoffee cake was 10/10
This is an excellent little cafe, possibly the best breakfast bap I have ever eaten, superb quality ingredients prepared well. The cakes were superb too, I thoroughly recommend a visit, worth a diversion even if you are not going past it! Friendly staff too.
Popped into this lovely cafe for a little treat for my husband’s birthday. We purchased a Toffee Crisp and Jaffa Cake brownie and found them to be delicious! Give them a try if you are nearby!
We live nearby and go frequently. The baked goods are always indulgent and delicious. The coffee is good and they have lots of tasty options like pumpkin spice, honeycomb, and other flavours. They have some lunch food options which are also good. Their berry scones are unmissable! In addition the de
Excellent friendly service. Excellent coffee and baking. The high quality of produce just about warrants the price.
Lovely little cafe, Lots food , hot & cold , seats inside , outside . Went on bikes , Friendly welcome, sat outside in the sunshine. Loved it.

Really good coffee and cake in a pleasant building in the pretty market town of Askrigg.
Great coffee and delicious scones! Well worth a visit.
Just picked up my afternoon tea takeaway. Looks delicious. Sandwiches and some cakes stacked two deep.
The Bake-Well has an artisan feel to it. Bread, pork pies and lovely cakes abound. The cafe is very homely and the staff are attentive and welcoming. I really enjoy the vibe of these cafés. Its possible to eat outside. How many cafés offer a view of "Skeldale House", the home of the screen vets in "
