Really special place nice couple great atmosphere
Lovely, aged public house with rooms for getaways.
Beautiful location with the natural springs just a stones throw away. Food is amazing. Friendly chefs. Particularly Dave requires a mention. Friendly bar staff.
Definitely recommend for a roast or a quiet drink. Even more beautiful when the real fires are lit in the winter
Had a family gathering of 20 people on Sunday.
Everything was spot on.
The staff were happy and attentive.
The meal came out hot and quickly and there was something for everyone.
Very reasonably priced, will definitely be back.
Thank you
A great place that feels like home, staff are lovely to talk to and are happy to help accommodate with many things, I enjoyed my stay at the three tuns and will definitely be returning! The garden could do with better utilization of space but a lovely well kept garden none the less!
We live local so we thought we would support our local pub.
When we walked in there seemed to be a meeting with staff but it was a bit of putting when one person was just laying across the seat .
So we moved to the restaurant, both my husband and myself had burgers, the burgers were really nice but my chips were under cooked and hard .
The young lady who served us was really nice and explained it was her first night .
Service was good although I think we were asked 4/5 time by different staff if everything was OK.
Perhaps because I said about the chips
A little hidden gem.. great service, fantastic staff and nice atmosphere, dog friendly which was great for us!
Highly recommend!! Room was spotless and well sized for the price a great nights sleep as well
I've visited the Restaurant and bar a few times now and was immediately impressed with the beauty of the setting and its idyllic location. The staff were very polite and served me and friends straight away, no waiting. The food was lovely and fresh and the IPA beer was just right. I look forward to my next visit imminently.
This pub has given me and my family a truly wonderful experience. The most diligent, kind and courteous staff, beautiful surroundings and furnishings, top quality food and drinks. We held a wake here and couldn't have asked for better service all round. Thank you Three Tuns.
Pub. A typical old village pub. Not too busy and slightly cold. I asked to reignite the log fire which had gone out and the staff went off to bring logs. Beer selection is a little lacking. Being used to at least half a dozen ales, was only presented with Tim Taylor Landlord. Had 3 pints which went down very well. Cosy in the end with a few locals that liked too chat.
Room. Very nice room booked at last minute. Tidy and contemporary, warm and comfortable. Nice little touches and pretty quiet nights sleep. Couldn't fault the room other than the fire alarm going mad at 6am.
Food. Really nice piece of steak and the trimmings. Cooked a little over but still very enjoyable sitting beside my new log fire😄
Value for money. Room was less than average at £80. Food was about average at £17. Beer was above what I would prefer to pay at £5.50 a pint.
We stopped to have a bite to eat and a shandy.
We had the club sandwich each, the ciabatta should have been slightly toasted but it was cold and rubbery, had it been toasted it would have fantastic. I wouldn't buy this again but the pub is fantastic and the staff are wonderful.
Didn't stay so gave the rooms a 3.
Lovely pub with a great garden. They put on an amazing buffet and the staff were very knowledgeable about gin and helped us pick some good ones! I'm looking forward to coming for dinner in the garden in the summer!
Had no problems during our stay, food was good and staff very helpful. Would recommend
A really pleasant experience. We selected this pub as a half way house to meet with family. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. The pub itself was warm and cosy (and dog friendly) and it is situated on a good sized plot of land with facilities that must be idyllic in the warmer weather with terraces and a beer garden. Definitely a fixture for subsequent meetings. A hidden gem in e delightful village.
Very friendly and helpful manager. Bed was comfy, everything provided for us in the room. Shower was great too.
Unfortunately they were in the middle of a refurbishment so we couldn’t have dinner or a cooked breakfast. All of the downstairs we had no access to. Which was a real shame.
It would have been nice to have had an email with that information on, just to pre-warn us.
