It was rather straightforward to make the reservation via automated service on the mobile.
Ordered a good selection of food to share, the way we like it to mix it up. The food was ok. It helped ordering a selection and sharing to mix the flavour. Having said that, there where no complaints with the food.
It was during a quiet period, so we had nicely positioned table near the window.

Lovely welcome. We were served by Pasha and Fallon who were both very professional and friendly.
We ordered from the set lunch menu and they were ample portions.

Shortly after arrival we was welcomed and seated in a beautiful dinning room. Atmosphere was relaxed, warm and friendly, amazing old photos and paintings of around the area and beautiful views from the window we was sat at. Ordered our amazing food. I had fish and chips (classic) and my 2 friends ordered the duo of lamb (getting this next time) food arrived and was amazing. The service was second to none nothing to much trouble and very friendly and chatty. Lucy B & Eleanor was amazing just what any food establishment requires. Owning my own food establishment I understand about choosing the right staff, the hartshead have truly got the staff right this evening so thank you Lucy B & Eleanor for looking after me and my friends this evening, the right staff will ensure customers return and talk about there experience. We will be back as need to try the lamb duo. My friends had honey pot dessert but after the huge battered fish I couldn't attempt a dessert even though that looked amazing. Thank you so much for an amazing evening. Keep up the great work. See you all soon xx
Paige was very attentive, friendly and polite. Excellent service. Pleasant staff. Food was yum, good to have a place that does burgers that aren’t brioche buns.
Honey pot dessert was nice and a bit different.

Lovely meal! Me and wife loved the food and the atmosphere. Very comfy seating. The restaurant/pub has beautiful scenery and outside seating too. We’ll definitely be coming back.
The only thing that let it down was some things on the menu being too pricy. My flatbread had too much flour on the bottom of it which ruined the taste. The chips tasted like oven chips.
The staff were lovely.
We had never been here before and we weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly, just like the staff, and the food was delicious. There was a great choice of food and it was tasty and well presented. We will definitely be returning soon.
Honestly, the staff are so nice and the food was perfect in taste and presentation! Definitely not just pub grub! Not expensive at all and worth every single penny!
Second time and we love it here! So homely and lovely decor. We sat by the window with the view of the cows. Food was very tasty. Nice fries, good cut of meat and seasoned well. The beef dripping sauce was soooo addictive! The brownie was so endulgent and the baileys ice cream was maurish. Only 4 stars because order was the wrong way round but friendly staff very attentive. Overall comfortable experience and ate everything! Top notch.
Me and my partner had a meal at the Hartshead inn a few weeks ago. I would love to give this a five star review because the food and the service was excellent. I had an offer off the app which gave me a discount so it made it great value for money. But I would’ve gone anyway because I love the chain.
Set in a spectacular part of the English countryside with an amazing view of Hartshead Pike. This pub serves amazing food. They put care and attention into people's food helping the customer to locate gluten free and other allergy free food. The Sunday lunch is a must. Highly recommend
Popped in for lunch and we were welcomed by the lovely Lucy B who made us feel very welcome. Seated at a lovely airy table by the window. I had the Smoked Haddock Kedgeree Fishcakes which were really tasty and my partner had a huge Gammon steak with chunky chips. Pasha made sure we had everything we needed and we will definitely be back again… bringing the dog with us next time. Would highly recommend a visit.
Great food as always albeit the standard of coffees need some work. Charging Starbucks prices but Greggs quality. Milk is never frothed properly and it was lukewarm to drink. That said, I had the Turkey dinner and it was a proper plate full, impressed.
Service was wonderful, the staff were both knowledgable and helpful. We had a good meal and an even better evening. We were also informed of the change of style coming up, when we enquired, and we are looking for to returning when you re-open.
Just had a wonderful meal here with our family, including little dogs in the bar area. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Big thankyou, we will be back.
And back we went, still absolutely 💯 % this time in restaurant side, delicious food and excellent service.
