Had a meal yesterday with a friend. Staff very polite and helpful. Food was very, very hot and tasted fresh. Had a Latte which was hot ( normally they're just warm in other places). Definitely go again and highly recommend.
Had a lovely lunch with my neighbour who didn't like any of the sandwiches on the menu, she asked if they could make her a cheese and tomato which they did without hesitation. My lunch was lovely and the waitress was friendly helpful and actually made all the difference.
Not been in for quite a long time after a mediocre meal when the head chef wasn't in. The meal we had last night was really nice and back to it's usual standard, the staff were as efficient and friendly as possible always. Will make it a favourite again.
Just been for tea for my mums birthday, loved the new menu. All 4 of us tried something different and was amazing. Food, drinks and service was brilliant as always �����

Food was delicious. We started with a fantastic, flavorful traditional French onion soup and a really good chicken liver pate. Followed with superb, well cooked braised steak and a delicious fish and chips.
We could not squeeze a dessert no matter how much we wanted to.
I would also recommend trying their local pale ale.
Overall a place is a bit pricier, but definitely worth trying.
3 visits and all v enjoyable especially when the beer garden is warm enough to use. Pizzas as good as a real Italian
Lovely place, good service, and the food was excellent. Only thing that let it down was the barman who was offhand with my 80 year old mum when she went up to pay the bill. Would definitely go here again though.
The Heroes of Waterloo was recommended to us by our neighbours; so, we thought we give it a go. From the moment we walked n, the staff were attentive, friendly, and provided textbook service.
The pizza was the best I’ve ever had, and the fish and chips were lovely. Very meaty fish and hand cut chips.
The decor is really nice and there’s a gorgeous outdoor seating area that can be used all year round.
We’ll most definitely be back!
Fantastic place to take the family. The staff are amazing, the food is great and the atmosphere is excellent. I would recommend the Heroes to anyone.
Mum's Birthday, service was great, staff were fantastic, was a lovely late afternoon meal for 10 family members. Only thing I would say, ordered pizza and it was so garlicy I couldn't eat it. Wasn't going to spoil the day by my personal preference though. Deffo go back as a lovely atmosphere, ty
The staff and the food was excellent but took 1 hour 10 minutes to be served done no what when wrong today but when you spending 50 pounds plus you think you would get your meal in good time and not see other people get there's how have come in after you and had eaten and gone not happy but food and staff was just been here today as usual the meals were great as it was mother's day and the place was packed

Food was nice,well worth a visit.
