The Black Swan - Ashover - Photo album

Went on a nice 8 mile circle walk that ended at the Black Swan. Friendly landlord, 4 well kept cask ales along with the the usual pub drinks. Didn't eat today but am told it's good by family who live down the road. Dogs (and horses, see pic) welcome.
Popped in for a quick lunch and we were met with a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The member of staff behind the bar was incredibly friendly and made sure that we were well looked after. The food was very tasty and I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
Definitely a great British country pub feel. My son and I had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely huge!! The staff were friendly and we liked the atmosphere. Got some funny first looks of the "locals" mind :-)
Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and food which is beautifully cooked and superb value for money. We visited with our adult son. He and I had the all day breakfast and we both rated it the best we have had. Loads of it and no compromise at all on the quality of the ingredients. My wife had the curry

Dog friendly and great food. Vegan and dairy free meals, good choice. What's not to like. 🤔 Great function room looking forward to Trisha's ( medium) visit soon.
A very friendly pub with a great selection of gins. Plenty of space to sit inside or outside. Food is good with generous portions.
Great food made on the premises by someone who knows how to cook, warm and welcoming... can't ask for more....👍
