Good and busy Wetherspoon pub in town centre at end of the high street. It's spacious and comfortable. Food is good and great value, as are the drinks. Simple and basic...but well worth a visit, our cooked breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff serving at the bar, enjoyable visit.
Fantastic place. Food is fantastic, great friendly 'happy to help' staff. Came here a few nights while in the local area, had the pleasure of the entertaining 'bingo night' which was a good laugh! Brilliant!
Had dinner here with my sister and did not disappoint. Food always good. Bit gutted as did not realise they did bingo here on a Wed night. Will defo be back for that. Thank you all for a lovely evening.
Breakfast is great. Service was so quick and food spot on.
Busy pub with excellent friendly staff. Didn't eat so cannot comment on food. Buzzy atmosphere.
Cheap and cheerful, only downside it was hard to have a good conversation due to the level of noise
No car park ,had to ring and ask staff where I could park they use a car park within walking distance ,clean tables ,food arrived promptly and was really nice steak cooked to how I liked it ,it is on a roadside junction so busy passig traffic if sat outside .
Had a catch up lunch with a friend, good prices on both food and drink. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had a fab day.
Always busy, it's obvious why. Massive drinks offering at really competitive prices. Didn't have any food hence the 4 stars the food looks good value though. Ideal place for a work friends lunch, after school tea or a quick bite after work. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the quality and price of
Lovely staff, great service breakfast was as expected for a good value meal.
Great atmosphere Value for money on food and beer Highly recommended
We often have breakfast or lunch here. Today, 3 of our group had fish and chips and all 3 of us were disappointed. The fish was soft and not up to the normal quality. I reported this to our server who said she would pass our comments to the kitchen.
A Spoons with a big screen TV..and England v Ukraine live. AND..loos on the ground floor.
Jack of all trades is possibly the nicest guy I have ever came across. He has the nicest manners, best approach to the public and he should get the best recognition possible. What an absolute 5* guy 💙 ps jack needs a new mop!
