The best food for miles, try their cheese patties, they're divine! They also use sustainable packaging for everything, no polystyrene on these chips.

Best fish and chips for miles, and huge portions too, plus very friendly staff. Well worth travelling for. Fish are lovely and juicy and the batter is the best. Our NE favourite by far.
Friendly service and large portions. My fish was overcooked and chewy, even though it was cooked fresh but everyone else enjoyed theirs. They do a jumbo fish too, which must be enormous as the one I had was large and almost too.large to finish.
How have we just found this place. We ordered 2 small Cod & Chips and a children’s cod bites and chips. Very generous size portions. The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were amazing. We all loved it. We will definitely be back.
On holiday in the area, popped in for a fish and chip supper on the way back to the holiday home and oh my it did not disappoint.

Had a lovely haddock and chips meal, 6/9/23.The whole experience was excellent as I was greeted with a smile and very friendly hello,the good sized haddock was freshly cooked and the meal was great. So much nicer and better value to one that I had recently in Amble.
Visited while travelling through... Absolutely banging chippy.. lovely staff and brilliant service, our order was massive (for 8 people )and they got it ready inno time at all ... and probably the best fish and chips I've had.. would definitely recommend. Would have given 6 stars if I could!

Absolutely gorgeous. We had 2 cod bites and chips and chicken nuggets and chips with mushy peas, curry sauce and batter bits all from the lunchtime menu.
The cod bites are huge and the fish is gorgeous, really chunky. The chips were beautifully cooked and the potatoes used are full of flavour.
