First time I have been in here. Lovely bar/restaurant. Just had a drink , but the meals being served , looked delicious. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely go back again.

The Block & Tackle is coming on leaps and bounds since Beth & Dave took over running the pub. Went for meal at 1455. Kitchen staff going on break, however stopped back and cooked 2 meals. Thanks to James. Both meals were excellent.

Great experience, ordered a meal and requested a takeaway container as I was planning on eating only half of the supplied. The bartender was extremely helpful and stated they didn't have any but would happily wrap the food up with tin foil providing the plate was returned. Will definitely be returni

A brilliant family oriented pub in the heart of Northumberland. Reasonably priced drinks and food. We will definitely return when passing this way again.
Great, friendly staff and customer service, well kept bar with a great menu range for those coming for food. Nice and chill atmosphere, with an open beer garden for when the sun shines
Cracking pub. Families playing pool and eating together in one half; sports bar in the other half. They even offered a raffle every hour with free entry for every drink you ordered. It was a fun touch. Food was OK; typical pub grub and no real surprises or anything fancy.
