This is by far the best harvester I have been too! My food came within 20 minutes of ordering and my waiter ( Melissa ) was lovely. She was really helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend coming here for a nice meal :)

When we went on Friday 31 March it was the second day open after their refit and what a difference 😁 Yes we did have to wait for a table for about 40 minutes - but the gentleman at the desk as you came in was so friendly and polite both when we arrived and when he took us to our table we didn't mind! Best thing to do is book in advance tho! Our waitress (Isla) was excellent and although she was very busy she acknowledged us and let us know she would be with us soon. She was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Probably for the first time ever at this restaurant every single bit of our food was amazing 😁 I can only presume that while you were closed all the staff had additional training - which has definitely paid off!! Well done! We will be back soon!!!

I and my friend visited here on a weekday for a Dinner. To be honest, I have never visited any of the Harvester (aka The Bulldog) restaurants before, so this is my first experience at Harvester. There is a "50% off" offer was running at the restaurant that day, hence many foodies are trying to get on board, including us. We booked a table well in advance to have a relaxed, hassle free dining experience. I got to say that the atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy. We ordered two Half Roasted Chicken with Chips meals. I must say that the quantity and the taste of food exceeded our hungry minds. The unlimited Salad bar is pretty decent and got a wide range of dishes which even encourage us to eat more. The staff seems to be a bit exhausted, mainly due to the busy period of the day I guess. After having the main and sides we ordered two Rocky Horrors for the desserts. One of the best desserts I have ever had in my life. Truly, that was a great dining experience. Looking forward to the next Harvester.!

Harvester generally tick most of the boxes. The service was super friendly. Food was good. Prices reasonable. Prices have gone up recently and some of the dishes are quite expensive for the quality. Overall facilities were clean and service friendly. Make sure you register your car for the car park when you enter or you will be fined.

Afternoon stop off and was the best decision! Ample parking. Quick service to table. Salad bar and bread full. Food was fresh and hot. Was advised a 35 minute wait and probably came out in 20. Very impressed. Left full and happy.

Free parking on site no issue finding a space. We were greeted with a smile on arrival and given a table in a quiet area. Having settled in we were able to order drinks first and then food. Staff were polite, pleasant and informal so we felt looked after. We ordered a light dinner, jacket potato etc. The portions were generous and the food was fine. The nachos were delicious. The salad bar which Harvester promotes, was tasty if limited in the range. The cost was good value. We had a pleasant evening and I'm sure we will be back.

Always end up coming here for a cheap family meal and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and service is quick. I always end up having the camembert tart and it's always great. The salad bar is solid and the addition of curried beans is nice too! Only reduced a star because the salad bar was a bit empty tho this time.

WOW! I received a parking fine from Euro Car Parks. I went here with my wife and baby. Parked up and waited to be served. We didn’t reserve so we’re told there were no tables and wait would be an hour. We didn’t want to wait so left. Now I received a £60 fine from Euro car parks. Jack the duty Manager was very helpful and has had the ticket cancelled, thank you Jack and Harvester, I will be back will reserve next time. Cheers

A very satisfying breakfast. It's a shame they don't have fried bread on the menu. The staff were very pleasant. It's clean and tidy. Parking is easy but you have to enter your car registration inside the pub.

Visited for my birthday with my husband. We both had salad then the 1983 combo. Large portions perfectly cooked I had jacket potato instead of chips again a decent size. All served up by our lovely waitress Hazel who was very attentive. Thank you for the free birthday main course voucher sent which was very much appreciated

I knew what ti expect from a Harvester. The ambiance was nice and our serving was top notch. The salad bar was really poor but it was pretty late, after 9pm and we were also told there were supply problems. Our meals were good and pretty much as expected. It was all we needed for a late evening meal.

The food was lovely. Service was unusually slow (but is normally fantastic). The lady who served us today was very pleasant and polite. Lots of parking spaces available with a screen to add your car details in, on arrival. The toilets and restaurant was very clean and tidy and all the staff looked happy.
