As soon as I walked in I could tell this wasn’t your normal fish and chip shop! The decor and seating area were a level above any other fish and chip shop I’ve visited. It had a diner feel to it.
The food itself was amazing - the grilled fish and chips was tasty, well grilled and seasoned with good
Very welcoming Traditional fish & chips restaurant, beautiful area with tables, but you can take away too. The fish butter was no greasy at all.. I managed to eat it 😋.. we loved the mushrooms fried too.
We strongly recommend for a family and friends lunch or dinner 🍽
We ordered 7x take away large cods and not only the food was great but the service was awesome. They excellent packed the fish and all the food was hot. Thank you. We will order again!
Went to shop there and saw this Chippy looked posh and had a great seating area . Had fish and chips and a battered sausage all were top class . Highly recommend it and reasonable prices for sure 5 stars
First time I’ve ordered from here and I have to say it was lovely. Yes okay I’m a Mr Plain when it comes to burgers, but it was lovely, chips were perfect as well. Would I use this shop again? HELL YES!!!
Ordered in the shop a takeaway. First time in there, the restaurant side was very busy but we didn't have to wait long to be served. Food was ready very quickly, piping hot and delicious. Definitely will go back. Reasonably priced too.
ok the food was good , great portions and taste, but the real treat was the waitress, she had a wonderful local accent and so fun, good working class fair, we saw mostly take away people,
The BEST fish & chips around!!! Absolutely delicious - I really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly & approachable. We had a wonderful experience & I’ll be back there next weekend!!!!

The battered cod was excellent. The fish was cooked to perfection, the batter was superbly crispy. The chips were OK.
Would recommend dining in for maximum freshness.
Great quality fish and chips to eat in or take out. Although be warned ⚠️ Fridays are crazy busy as it is well known for its quality and people are more than happy to wait for their portion.
We always come to you two brothers when I down from Cambridge to visit family it's the best fish & chips in the area.
