Not local to Ashford, and was looking for somewhere to get a pub lunch. I asked a friend who lives in Ashford and he recommended the Barn, we are very happy he did. It is a wonderful building with a very large garden. It seems to be a locals pub. But this did not make you feel unwelcome, was a nice atmosphere. With helpful bar staff. The food was fine as pub food goes. No complaints. We will definitely eat there again.

My friend and I just found this place by accident. The found and staff where wonderful.
Went here for a birthday party. Our group sat at the top level restaurant. Went up by stair (no lift noticed). Toilet facilities were downstairs. Old wooden beam design (be careful of your head, if you are higher than 5 foot 6") eating area with high windows, so had enough natural lights. However, when it was getting darker, they had artificial lighting turned on which was quite blinding. Food was cooked well and service was friendly.
Drinks are a bit expensive there, but the interior always takes me. Had a nice, chilled evening with a few friends. Definitely recommend for the winter months, it will be a nice and cosy atmosphere!

Was all going so well, until we wanted to order a pudding. The bar maid was quite rude when we went to place an order as the kitchen had closed. We are not local, we didn't know, this could have been said to us, when we ordered mains.

Lovely staff.friendly atmosphere.had steak which had to send back as had seasoning on it that me and my daughter did not like.they kindly recooked 2 more for us.would definately visit again . Xx
Catered for a party of 12 at short notice. Looked after our cake until after a christening and provided seating for 18 after. All friendly and helpful staff food was delicious and a nice play area for the children. Definitely recommend the Sunday roast.
Great bustling local pub! Lots of outdoor seating and play parks. A wide selection of beers on tap!
It was absolutely heaving as the England vs Iran World Cup match was on. However, the service from the young lady that served us was fantastic. We chose fish & chips and a steak & ale pie with mash and vegetables. Despite being busy, we did not have to wait long for lunch and it was superb 👌🏻
