Really nice place with great food, quite a lot of which is Eastern European, I had pierogi, and they were yummy. Hash browns are really nice as well, they are known as draniki (potato pancakes). Generous portions, good prices.

Breakfast here is amazing. Been so many times and the Madeline hash browns are to die for! Only visited here for breakfast but there offer good food items for lunch too. Would recommend and always visit again. A small independent cafe with amazing food!

Went with my husband, my bagel was delicious couldn't fault it, but my husband had a cooked breakfast and said the sausages and hash browns were a bit bland. Would still go back and try other dishes

Definitely my favourite cafe for breakfast or lunch in Ashford. Never ate anything I didn't enjoy here. Service always with a smile, even when it's busy. Today we had French toast with fruit confiture & raspberries, scrambled eggs with sausage and toast and cappuccinos. Scrumptious food and welcoming atmosphere 😋

Newest coffee shop in Ashford recently opened in the old Burtons menswear shop. It has been totally done out inside and is very spacious. Great position looking down Bank street with plenty of seats and tables with some even in the front windows. As to be expected there is a good choice of coffees available with other snacks too such as muffins, tarts, cakes etc. The main coffee advertised here is illey coffee which I happen to like having had that in Spain a few years ago. Well worth a visit as it's a brand new non chain coffee shop and the prices are better too! I will be going back.

Best coffee I've had outside of Italy (I live there)..I like to search out independent cafes with a proper coffee machine. Chain coffee is a big no from me and coffee at Madeline's is even cheaper...Whats not to like :)

Lovely place, well laid. Great staff. I would add that it needs a couple of more 4 seater tables, as we had to 'pinch' a chair for our 4th person. Apart from that, I will definitely use it again

Have visited twice and both times had a good experience. My first visit was coffee and cakes. Yes, I had 2 they were lovely and big portions. 😊 the second time I had breakfast, which was really nice especially the hashbrowns.
