Took part in the Sushi School Experience at Ashford which takes place every Wednesday evening. Christopher, our chef, was amazing and took time to explain the history of sushi, how to correctly cut salmon and how to make sushi. He was very patient and made you feel at ease. We had plenty to eat during the experience and even took loads home (see picture). The experience (which we prebooked) lasted 2 hours, was great fun and would highly recommend.
Love to sushi but today Service in a quiet takeaway was a little bit slow, always tasty food, and reasonable priced. my one issue would be that my fries were a very small portion (first time I've had them) and they were cold. Didn't go back to the restaurant though as on lunch break, so to be fair to them they didn't get an opportunity to resolved the issue.
Brand new Yo! Sushi Resturant, clean, excellent customer service. No waiting time and lots of seating.
Sashimi didn’t really taste fresh, had a odd taste.
The rolls were very wet, a lot of moisture.
It was annoying that there wasn’t any soy sauce plates.
Hand rolls were good, nice variety of food options.
Fried selection was good. Lots of flavour.
Overall good atmosphere, welcoming.
Fantastic!!
Love love love it!!
So much to choose from... Veggie, vegan, meaty, fishy and sweet.
The staff were chirpy, welcoming and helpful.
We took some dishes from the belt and had some cooked to order.
Nice, crisp, fresh decor. Light and airy
You should go!
Nice collection of sushi.. but the variety could have been improved. Portion size might not be enough relative to the price.
But worth the visit. Wouldn't mind going back again.
Splashed out for a box in the take away section for my sister and I as we don't get to hang out often. Really yummy and filling. We sat outside as it was a warm day. I asked for the table to be cleaned and the staff were more than accommodating and super fast and friendly. Also, the ginger was such big strips and super yummy and given a reasonable amount. You can never have too much ginger! 🖤
Nice new Yo! Sushi. Friendly service and excellent food as always. Not offered a bowl for soy sauce or ginger though. Will come back as we use 2 for 1 on taste card which makes it cheaper and definitely a good deal.
I came here with my son and father in law, the latter being a sushi virgin and we thoroughly enjoyed. All of the sushi was perfect and I was really impressed with the broccoli spears. 10 out of 10, we will go again.
I visit other Yo! Sushis a lot and was excited to try this one within the Ashford Designer Outlet. It is a very different design to others with 3 long tables with the belts on and no booths. I imagine this makes it harder for families but was fine for my mum and myself. I loved that they actually had a range of items going round on the belt rather than only 1 or 2 items as this allows me to see things I like the look of to try rather than having to order everything. No bells to call over the waiters meant service was a bit slower and I could see the family next to me getting frustrated at this. Again, I didn't find it a problem as I tried items on the belt while I waited. No taps for water either but they provided you with a large bottle of ice cold water instead that you could use to fill your own glass. On the whole, a very nice experience.
Visited today for the first time at a YO! and was pleasantly surprised.
The food tasted great, and the service was top - had staff checking we were okay several times during our booking.
The food comes out on a conveyor (found this very fun!) And you order through the mobile site, which was hassle free.
My only dig is that the drinks are very expensive - £3 for a regular can of coke, so we went without drinks.
I would highly recommend!
Went to a sushi making class here last night with friends and had such a great time. Jack, the head chef, was very informative and knowledgeable. He was so good at explaining how to make the sushi and guided us through each step well. Really fun, relaxed evening, and lots of delicious food throughout. 10/10 would recommend YO! Sushi School!
Food is delicious. Service is slow and you need to fight to get what you need sometimes. We ordered 2 soups, in 2 different times. At both times we had to hunt for a spoon. Waitresses were either not there or busy. Our soy sauce and wasabi paste served after we finished our sushi.
Got it delivered ordered the chicken katsu curry and Korean fried chicken and kaiso seaweed, tasted very nice, hot and full of flavour
Highly recommended, great food and staff very helpful
