Good company, good beer and the best homemade burgers that I have ever tasted. Made from scratch with stilton and bacon on top if you wish. Simply epic!

I love the Plough, it's a warm, cosy refuge from the world. A warm welcome, good selection of cask ales and always a great atmosphere.

What's not to like. Excellent choice of ales, food now on and cooked to perfection at affordable prices, entertainment free, great landlord & landlady who know how to look after their customers who are treated my like "guests". Friendly locals , a great meeting place especially for "early doors".

Fantastic little pub close to the centre of Ashby. Cottage style building with a nice comfortable atmosphere, and welcoming hosts. This is a drinking pub with regular live music based around pop and rock mostly, which is well frequented by the locals. Can be a bit busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but this just adds to the atmosphere. There is a large beer garden at the rear, with shelter, and sometimes the bands perform outside which is rare and very enjoyable. Well worth a visit if you are into music and fun.

Nice little boozer just off the high street, usual beers and wines, no food served, no pool table, no fruit machines and a better atmosphere for it! Not the biggest pub on world so it can get packed, usually have a band on a Saturday night and a DJ on Friday night

So friendly and welcoming. The landlord and landlady (Bobby and Dette) are glad to see all of their customers come through the doors. Perfect social distancing practices in place also.
