Lovely little place.The staff were brilliant and helped us choose a cocktail we would like .They charted and laughed with us they were just brilliant.I must mention the toilets they were immaculate which is a plus for anywhere.Need a place like this in carlisle !
We had a fantastic Cocktail Masterclass on Sunday, great value for money and we all were well looked after by Abi.
Highly recommend to get yourselves booked on this, was great to be behind the bar and learn how to make a couple of the cocktails

Love this little gem. Pornstar martinis to die for. Went yesterday and took my friends so they too could sample one. Kate is lovely, helpfu,l knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we were well looked after. Roll on summer....sitting outside in the evening sun drinking cocktails....perfect

Went here for the first time last night, me and my two friends loved it, the drinks were amazing, and the shots tasted good. The staff in there are lovely and very welcoming, will defo be going back again soon!
This is the perfect summers evening chill with the girls, visited with a friend and had a bottle of fizz with a second cute little bottle of Kir .... lovely spending a night catching up and making our very own Kir Royale's ... we will be back.

We had the best experience- food was very tasty and arrived quickly, cocktail menu had many choices and all presented beautifully. Chris provided an amazing service, haven't laughed so much in a long time!!! Definitely will be back in the future.

Exceptional service and food! We booked The Vine for a Hen Party on Saturday 29th July for 32 people .Upon prior to everyone arriving I went down to The Vine to set up the tables etc ,I was greeted by Megan who showed me to the restaurant to see if I liked the way that had set it up , it was absolutely fine I just asked for a couple of adjustments nothing major - just the tables to be a little bit more closer together, which she said was absolutely no problem.
When everyone started to arrive we were greeted straight away with friendly faces who couldn’t do enough for us . The food was second to none, this came out altogether and was piping hot , it was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were really generous too. As it was for a large party we did pre- ordered our food , from a 2 course set menu the restaurant had designed for us , which had plenty of choice for Starters , Mains and Deserts , that suited both meat and plant based options (This is what we asked for) A couple of people in the party are really fussy eaters but they didn’t complain about it and accommodated us accordingly.
All in all the service, food and the decor was just amazing , and a credit to Davood and his team for making the Bride to Be’s day amazing .The cocktails were also amazing We will definitely return , maybe not such as a large group next time.
Me and my sister went to the vine on the 16th of June for dinner. The food and cocktails were amazing and the service was the best. Chris, our server, was so helpful and was a lot of fun with us. Would definetly recommend it for a fun evening out with delicious food and drinks. 10/10

Friendly attentive service and great food at a reasonable price. The menu was very varied and interesting. Our party of six made different food choices and we all enjoyed our meals. When good quality food at a sensible price is hard to find, we found the Vine Restaurant to be exceptional. We will certainly be visiting again.
We had a lovely Saturday night here, the food and drink were fabulous and the service was excellent. The waiter couldn't do enough for us. We will look forward to visiting again.

Visited for a surprise birthday bottomless brunch on Saturday. Food and drink were superb as was the service. We were kept topped-up with prosecco and orange juice. We stayed for cocktails afterwards which were delicious. Back next weekend for lunch!

This place has different atmospheres depending upon what you are seeking. The mornings are normally very quiet. The afternoon is more busier and evenings attract a different buzzing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They serve excellent breakfasts, afternoon teas and a delightful food menu. There is a restaurant which it is advisable to book in advance. There is also a small outside sitting area.
We booked a table to round off our honeymoon and couldn’t fault the place at all! We were served by Chris who was extremely friendly and attentive, food was amazing and cocktails even better!! We will definitely be coming back here soon x

2-4-1 cocktail night is a must! From 5-7pm you're spoilt for choice with an amazing cocktail selection and the most friendly and funny service from Chris. Boy does he make a great cocktail and ( not that it's hard ) convinced me to sample many more cocktails and food during the evening. Honestly... the vine is amazing but hands up to Chris.
Stunning place, very classy, definitely recommend the champagne breakfast, 3 courses plus champagne, toast and coffee, great service too 👌
