The Cheddar Gorge - Ashbourne - Photo album

Nice small bakery/deli close to the centre of Ashbourne. We enjoyed the baked goods so much that we went twice! The first time we had a cappuccino cake and a rum truffle. The second time we had a rocky road and viennese whirl. The shop has a nice selection of products and the service was good the b
Since discovering Derbyshire Oatcakes on a holiday in the area recently, I needed to find a mail order source as they are so delicious, so versatile and a lower wheat option to other wrap type products. Cheddar Gorge in Ashbourne was the best option, the website is a little clunky but there’s only a
Lovely food ,and friendly staff.Forgot to ask if they sold gluten free products for my friend .
Smoked blue was delicious, black bomber was awesome, Cornish yarg was pretty good, and the soft cheese we got was great. Serve with Carr's Melts for perfection (other crackers are available, of course, but these are champion). Great staff, friendly place, wide variety. I'll be back.
Great though tiny cafe at the back of this good deli strong on cheese & baking , excellent cakes & tea in a big tealpot. Good friendly service too
Amazing cheeses and baked goods. Staff are great. My partner loves the savoury pastries. Can't recommend it enough.
Lovely and friendly and a good selection of cheeses and pies.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Only 3 tables but fell lucky. Had the tuna melt Panini, chicken and cheese sandwich and a Steak & Stilton pie. Good, friendly service. Even asked my daughter if she'd rather not have the salad! How did he guess. Food was great. Pie was fantastic. Recommend this place.
A great delicatessen - we go mainly for their lovely cheeses and bread but they do a lot else besides. It's a very small shop, well-stocked and popular so be prepared to wait - it's not the place to expect to pop in and out in a flash! Friendly, pleasant service.
Lovely little place lovely food and a really big tea pot of tea has some lovely cheeses to be tried and some lovely pies, the wood they've used for the inside it is exceptional looks amazing. Only list one star fit to the toilet, however would highly recommend
I get dutch cheese here and loverly scones. Everything is fresh. Staff are great and know about the products they sell. Fantastic small shop.
Like this place, but I can't say I love it. The pie selection is impressive and they offer a cute doggie menu. I ordered a pie to be consumed in the little cafe in the back, but the pie was sadly lukewarm.
Lovely shop, friendly welcoming staff and kid friendly for our 3 girls. All the food looks amazing. Fantastic indie bakery and deli.
Far better than Costa for a quality coffee and a bite to eat, pork pie/cheese scone anyone? Great deli and sweet treats counter also.
