Not sure but get the impression the staff are fairly new here. We booked for Sunday Lunchtime and it seemed quieter than we expected. Really enjoyed our meals and would certainly visit again. Christmas menu and Bookings available and some good weekday offers being advertised. Probably Marston offers.
Had a lovely visit this week, been in the past and didn't have a very good experience. Clearly a new team in and 100% better experience! Food was outstanding and the staff and service was first class! Loved the small touches of the seasonal decor, even the little Christmas corner advertising Christmas dining was well presented. Vast improvement and looking forward to having my local back! Looking forward to spending more time there!

Lovely place to rest your bones and the food I would definitely recommend to all I've eaten here a few times and loved it everytime the service is great to! such lovely staff that make this pub a homley welcoming invorment for all. Its dog friendly to and they have a lovely beer garden 😀 😊 ☺️ can't wait for my next visit

Had a lovely Ultimate Stack Burger, really very filling with great chunky chips and onion rings on the side. Service was really quick and pleasant staff behind the bar.

The best pub in the area by far. The staff makes this place and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is great and the owner is fantastic. Norah always goes out of her way to accommodate for you. 10/10
Loved this pub out on the A52, friendly,cosy and very welcoming place. Food was delicious and cannot recommend enough the chicken and bacon baguette.
Amazing pub with very friendly staff, great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Norah has made some fantastic improvements so if you haven’t visited before or haven’t been for a while I highly recommend it
