I live between Whitby and Redcar so have plenty of good Fish and Chip shops nearby. It’s no exaggeration to say Trawlers matches them all and I’m tempted to say is better than my favourites back home. The fish was well cooked, great batter, chips just crispy - perfect. Great value for money too. Pro
Had sausage in batter and chips from here last night. Surprised at all the bad reviews because i actually thought they were the best chips ive had from a chippy in a long time. Decent!
Simon and his team are always so friendly, and the food is great. My favourite is the scampi & chips, but the fish looks good too.
Very popular with our B&B guests, as they are located just around the corner in Queen Street.
Amazing fish and chips and lovely owners, gave us extra chicken bites :) 2 groups of people saw us eating and asked where we bought the food because it looked/smelled so good
I popped into the chippy today Fri 26. And I must say the chips was spot on portion size. Tasty real spud chips. And the young lady that served me. well mannered and polite. Well done. 😍
