Love this 'island of calm' a relaxed place to get off the road and into a space where people matter. Super service at the cafe counter, space to park and safe natural walks and space to move about when you disembark. Smart new 'field shelter' a great addition without diminishing the open air feel.

My first visit. Was taken here because of the name, mine being Whiteaway. Great place. Good place to stop at for everyone. Will stop off again I'm sure.

Great cafe, good food and service. But what I really like is the atmosphere. Everyone talks to each other, isn't that what the biking community is about? All out on the same passion on 2, 3 wheels. Keep the wind in ya face and the flies outa ya teeth (patch on my jacket)

Cafe is situated on Bury Hill. There is a large pay to park car park and us extremely popular with motor bikers this all adds to the atmosphere. The food is your basic kiosk food but cooked to order so fresh and hot and not skimped on . Leading off the car park is Haughton Woods with plenty of paths to follow either on foot or cycle.

A great place to get away for a walk and chat with motorcyclists with the great bikes seen. The cafe serves hot foods etc, pasties were great. The walks and paths off the car park are lovely, with the sun shining through on our day, picking out the density of the forest area's all lit up. Very quiet, though midweek, 22c, cool breeze flowing through the trees is still a good memory of that day. Lovely and tranquil.

It's a lovely cafe in a beautiful spot of the world. As it is right next to the road you have to expect some road noise. There's some nice walks from there. It is a favourite so for motorbike riders. If you're out on your bike in that area, so for a drink and have a chat with like minded people. When we last visited, the ladies was closed as the toilet was broken, so I had to use the gents. You have to pay for parking via Just park. Plenty of parking during the week. Not sure how busy it gets on a Saturday or Sunday. It was reasonably busy for a weekday lunchtime.

A great place to park up if you're a motorcyclist like myself and want to chat with likeminded people. The staff are lovely and always welcoming and I've even taken off for a quick jaunt around the local scenery by foot and its well worth it.

Great place to stop for a break, with great burgers, hot dogs, chips and even cakes. I forgot, they also have hot drinks too. If whenever around here, it is worth the break. Lots of motorcycles too !!!

Seeing different bikes is always great. Had a pasty, actually very tasty. A lot better selection now. Service was fine. Atmosphere is what you make it. It's outside 😁

A great place to end up after having been for a blast on the motorbike, drinking tea and chatting to like minded people ! Wasn’t keen on the bacon roll 😕 ! Remember at the weekends, during the warm season the car park gets packed as it’s full of motorbikes !!

Vast vast vast and a vast improvement in this place now... before it was like the passion wasn't there, and it showed in the quality of food... new people running the show and making it great again... so have removed my previous negative review and replaced it back with 5 stars! Thank you ;)
