I have spent many happy Sunday afternoons here with my children. They absolutely love walking round the lake and climbing up the banks. If you enjoy feeding ducks, don't forget to take your bread as there are plenty here. It's also a great place to take a picnic. Rowing boats are quite pricey but the kids have great fun. My girls went on their own in their early teens and went round and round in circles!

Very popular spot for all ages/abilities. Duck feeding and boating seems to be the the favourite here. Situated at the far end of Mill Road there is limited parking here. My grandaughter loves it. There is acccess to some fantastic walks around the Arundel estate from here, but some of the hills could be a little much for some!!. There is a lovely walk around the lake if you go left to the North side. Lovely picnic area and tea/coffe facilities. The Wetland Centre is a few yards down the road which is worth a visit.

Great place for an afternoon or morning out with the kids. Set just past Arundel castle down Mill Road it is a beautiful lake with duck feeding and boating. Rowing boats are cheap and rentable by the half hour. There is a cafe, ice cream stand (great ice cream!!) and scenic walks up the hill.

This is a realy beautiful well preserved castle with over a 1000 years of history behind it.Situated 4 miles north of Littlehampton midway between Chichester and Worthing it's very easy to get to.It's so easy to spend a day not just looking round the castle but there's also the gardens and the lake. The admission fee of Ā£13 adults and Ā£7.50 children (although family tickets are available) is worth the money.I can't wait to go back.

Visited on 3rd September with 7 other people. A stunning place to sit and take in views of the lake. There are tables in full sun and full shade so we chose the shade as it was a warm day. We came through on our motorcycles and the owner was very accommodating and helped us with parking inside the property. Food portions were good, fresh ingredients all made for a super visit. Will visit again šŸ˜

Friendly and relaxed place, staff are great. Put a candle in the cake for my motherā€™s birthday, and when we couldnā€™t finish it they boxed it up for us. The food was lovely, had afternoon tea, all had something different and it was all delicious and huge cakes! Thanks!

Beautiful building, lovely lake..awful loos with a 20p entry via a heavy turnstile. The coffee and tea and little tub of tasty ice cream were very much needed but the kitchen closes at 4pm so choice is limited.

Really nice cream teas. 4 of us went. 2 went to sit inside because of the amount of wasps that there were around the outside tables. they sell duck food too which we got to feed the ducks round the lake. recommended.

Had an enjoyable breakfast bap and iced coffee here this morning. We arrived mid-morning and the cafƩ soon got quite busy. Service was good and friendly and the food was reasonably priced. It was a hot sunny day but we were able to sit under a parasol with a good view of Swanbourne Lake. This was not our first visit and I'm sure we'll eat here again.

Came here for a lunch with 2 friends on a Friday afternoon. The weather was lovely and there were a few people milling around the lake feeding the ducks. We have reserved a table as you never know how busy places are going to be but it looked like we didn't need to. If you don't like flappy birds this is probably not the place for you but I loved. We ordered a variety of yumminess. One friend had the Welsh Rarebit with a little bottle of wine, another had a cream tea and some wine and I had some halloumi fries, a wine and a cherry scone. All were delicious. The cream was a bit overwhipped maybe, but everything else was spot on. The halloumi fries were absolutely delicious. Could've eaten them all day! They had some magic sauce and pomegranate seeds and chili flakes and yep awesome. Total bill came to around Ā£50 in total.

Lovely spot right by the lake. We had afternoon tea which was very reasonably priced and included so much food we had to take some away with us. All very delicious. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will be back soon!
