Visited on 3rd September with 7 other people. A stunning place to sit and take in views of the lake. There are tables in full sun and full shade so we chose the shade as it was a warm day.
We came through on our motorcycles and the owner was very accommodating and helped us with parking inside the
Friendly and relaxed place, staff are great. Put a candle in the cake for my mother’s birthday, and when we couldn’t finish it they boxed it up for us. The food was lovely, had afternoon tea, all had something different and it was all delicious and huge cakes!

We went mid weed , mid April so I imagine school holidays and weekends will heave so possibly wait times may vary and seating may be limited

Beautiful building, lovely lake..awful loos with a 20p entry via a heavy turnstile. The coffee and tea and little tub of tasty ice cream were very much needed but the kitchen closes at 4pm so choice is limited.
Really nice cream teas. 4 of us went. 2 went to sit inside because of the amount of wasps that there were around the outside tables. they sell duck food too which we got to feed the ducks round the lake. recommended.

Came here for a lunch with 2 friends on a Friday afternoon. The weather was lovely and there were a few people milling around the lake feeding the ducks. We have reserved a table as you never know how busy places are going to be but it looked like we didn't need to.

Lovely spot right by the lake. We had afternoon tea which was very reasonably priced and included so much food we had to take some away with us. All very delicious. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will be back soon!
