We visited here three adults and one nearly six month old baby. The staff were very welcoming and quickly helped whisked away the pushchair and brought us a highchair. Lovely food and despite being busy the staff were engaging and not at all bothered by a little potential noisy baby.

Impeccable food and outstanding service. It's difficult to find a food establishment that provides all of the above these days so we were delighted to have stumbled across this little gem, we will deffo be back! Especially after just reading that Treagust sausages are on the menu!

Nice little cafe in the high street with plenty of seating. Good value and quality food. Coffee was great. Service was quick, but could have been a little bit more attentive as had to seek someone out at the back to both order and pay. Good baby change facilities. Would recommend!

We had a lovely breakfast here on the 22nd of August. The eggs Benedict were particularly good as was the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The poached Moroccan eggs with merguez sausage were also brilliant. We highly recommend the Motte and Bailey cafe. This is high-end grub not at all a greasy spoon.

Stumbled across this lovely cafe while in Arundel early on a Saturday. The staff were very polite and friendly and the service was efficient. Food was very delightful and presented beautifully. Prices were what you would expect for somewhere that’s more than your average cafe.

Had a great brunch here. Managed to be seated and served quickly despite it being rather busy (clearly a popular spot). Coffee was great (with dairy free options). Portions were generously sized and reasonably priced. Sat in the quiet downstairs area but didn’t by any means feel forgotten about. Great location in the centre town, albeit a very small town!

Popped in on a wet afternoon for tea and cake. Delicious gluten-free, chocolate brownies and various non-milk options available. Lovely staff and we were not hurried away. There is a huge downstairs area so if it looks full do look downstairs where there is a very cosy snug next to a fire. And a very large number of tables stop I would recommend giving it a go. But not having a meal I cannot say anything but the cakes were wonderful.

We didn't have a booking but we got a table. Would recommend trying to pre book. The food was lovely and they had a good mix on the menu. We were sat downstairs, pretty much alone and the staff were very attentive, really good considering it was busy on the main floor.

Very nice place. Had been there twice for the love of their butter scones. They are totally fresh and a buttery delight. Service is quick. There is parking on the road if you can find a spot. I went at 10 am twice and was able to find parking on the road. It's a bit too crowded for me and dogs are allowed so i rated a 4 on the atmosphere. Would recommend this place to any scone lover.
