Absolutely amazing service from the most amazing waiter ever he sounds like Alice but, not! He made our night such a legend! The older waitress was great however the younger dark haired girl was rude and nearly ruined our experience as she was so obnoxious I nearly asked for her not to come to our table anymore! The food was delicious and well worth the wait! Great restaurant, great team (minus the young waitress) thank you for making my friends birthday one to remember! 😉

Lovely rustic Italian restaurant. Food was excellent and very tasty. Service was great and staff were very friendly. Really good meal before a concert in the cathedral!
Had a lovely lunch here yesterday for my birthday, lovely food, lovely staff. Specials are great value 2 mains, 2 glasses of wine, 2 coffees £25.80. Highly recommended

Had a lovely evening here to celebrate my 60th with friends. Staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was great. The food was lovely from pizzas to sea bream ...and desserts were gorgeous mine came wth a candle and a rendition of Happy Birthday. .fabulous evening

Had the Milanese and spaghetti for main and that was possibly even better. Really enjoy our food here. A big bottle of Peroni will set you back £8 though, the only downside to great food.
Popped into this Family run Italian restaurant...we didn't book but they managed to accommodate us.
Great meal felt very authentic..large portions so be careful if ordering a starter as well

It is not often I provide a 5-star rating, but La Campania is one that richly deserves it. Easy to book online (book early!) for this popular restaurant, La Campania is a very comfortable and welcoming place to dine. The service is genuinely excellent and the ambience conducive to a calm and relaxing experience. Now then, the food. Last week we had the bass - two perfectly cooked filets with wonderfully prepared vegetables. This time we cook only book a table for 12 noon as we had left it rather late. We therefore skipped starters and had a popular main course only. My wife had the tagliatelle and meatballs and I, the spaghetti bolognese.
I can only say that this was simply the best ever tagliatelle and meatballs we ever had, and my bolognese was absolute perfection. As I mentioned, the portions are generous and given we were not overly hungry having had breakfast at 'The Steakist' earlier that day, we were unable to eat much more than half. However, happy to help as ever, La Campania provided a bag with our packaged remains to enjoy later at home. We were extremely happy with that!
Fair prices for the quality you experience at this restaurant and we can only encourage others to experience it as well.

We have recently moved to the Arundel area and thought we'd try this Italian restaurant. We weren't disappointed, such a lovely place. The atmosphere was great.....the food was amazing. Although they were really busy the service was excellent. Would have loved to try a dessert but didn't have any room. Will definitely be returning.

This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant, and we have to say, we loved everything. We (3 of us) ordered from the set menu, which was very reasonably priced and a good selection of dishes.
Each course was generous, very presented, and extremely tasty.
The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. We can recommend it and we're already planning our next visit.
Perfectly cooked fish and mussels to die for. And wait until you see the Italian desserts! Excellent service and great selection of wines. Wednesday night is fish night and Thurs steak night.
Absolutely wonderful. The smell of the food as you approach is just incredible. They managed to squeeze us in last minute and we were so glad they could. The menu is extensive and varied with so many options that all sound amazing. The food we ordered was delicious, served piping hot and good sized portions. The staff are very genuine and super friendly and knowledgeable. Go to La Campania, you will not be disappointed!
Really enjoyed this one. Real genuine service, great food and a real lively buzz to the whole place. Has me saying classic lines like “like the good old days”. Also appreciate the custom lamps scattered across the whole restaurant. Will be going back
