The Town House proved to be an excellent venue for a surprise 60th birthday. For a small party - we numbered 18 in total - it worked a treat. The setting and ambience were great and the bar staff very friendly and helpful both before and during the event. The buffet was super and the baked Camembert with fresh crusty bread an absolute revelation as a 'party food' item. It was also very good value. Thoroughly recommend.
We hired the Town House for a private party and had a wonderful evening. It sounds like there are exciting new plans for the venue and it’s already an excellent setting and location. Terry and Amy were most helpful tailoring our plans and everything went smoothly at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend as a venue for small gatherings and parties.
Overall a great experience at this small hotel! The staff were all friendly and easy to chat with. The lobby is a bit of a change from any hotel I've been to. It's essentially a restaurant/pub space where you walk in. Loved the 2-for-1 Prosecco!
The location was great! Easy to walk to anything in Arundel. The train station here is a bit of a problem... but that's not the hotel's fault.
Breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend trying the Eggs Benedict.
The room was very well appointed. The decoration and details were amazing! Everything was comfortable and worked as expected.
My only complaint would be the road noise outside. We were on the first floor facing the road. The exterior doors to the patio did not provide much noise insulation so you could hear every car going by.
Great little hotel with the rooms above a bar. We stayed one night. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was nice.
Room had everything you need but was a little worn looking, but comfy all the same.
No evening food is served but we'd booked a restaurant anyway.
Location is excellent to explore the town.
Absolutely wonderful stay.
We arrived shortly after new owners took over. We were greeted with a warm welcome.
The stayed in the King's suit, which was very comfortable.
Arundel is magical, it was a lovely stay
A lovely room (Rosemary) with a view over the castle wall. We were welcomed to the hotel and checked in while the history of the stunning ceiling was explained. The Breakfast was a treat, a lovely full English. My only niggle was that the room with a lovely bath with a shower attachment couldn't really be used to shower.
We stayed here for a birthday weekend. Really nice deluxe room with the castle literally outside the window. Staff and friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfasts were excellent.
Great location, and fantastic staff. Sam really made the event, so thoughtful and helpful, went around the town to find out about Halloween events for our kids before we arrived, and went out of the call of duty in other areas. All the staff were really nice, fun and made the weekend for us. We had the top floor to ourselves. Perfect with two young kids, went out to eat at 47 Mussel street in LIttlehaven (best seafood), did the Halloween thing on the beach and came back to have a few drinks in the lovely bar downstairs, and let the kids run up and down to the room as they wished. So lovely....... will do it again!
What a gem of a place. Staff were all amazing! Sam behind the bar was a real life saver.
Would recommend and plan to visit again.
Nice place to lay your head and really great service and included breakfast.
A super find, the staff were lovely, room was great, breakfast super, I would definitely recommend and return.
What a gem of a place, we were so lucky to have our room upgraded. Absolutely beautiful! Very clean, spotless, a huge room, tastefully decorated, 4 poster bed. There was a wonderful ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and shower. It was luxurious. I had a fantastic stay with my husband. The breakfast was scrumptious! The staff were lovely and welcoming led by great manager called Kerry. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Wonderfully welcoming place to stay or have a drink. Stayed for one night in the wonderful town of Arundel.
The Town House is situated towards the top end of the high street. We were fortunate enough to get a parking space more or less outside; however there does seem to be plenty of available spaces in the town, or alternatively there is an overnight car park at the bottom of the high street.
Conveniently there are plenty of eateries and bars within a very short distance. In fact there is a very good Chinese restaurant/takeaway located next door.
I would recommend trying at least one of the cocktails on offer in the Town House - very satisfying!
Lovely hotel with exceptional service, location, food & drinks
I've been several times, small but lovely bar with good choice of wines and lovely cheese boards. Friendly and attentive lady behind the bar

We had a very nice lunch of sharing board and a bottle of wine. Lovely selection of meats and cheeses. The staff were really friendly and we stayed for another couple of drinks. Great little restaurant.
