What a lovely place this is. Popped in for coffee on Friday and ended up buying a beautiful picture which looks lovely in our hall. We thought it was poppies but it turns out to be tulips! Anyway - full marks to the cafe.

Great coffee and homemade cakes! And lovely gifts too. And throw in a few antiques in the cellar and what could be better!

We had a wonderful visit to the Posh Sardine. As a large group we were looked after with warmth and beautiful hospitality. Leo who is 6 met the challenge of the owner to count to 30 in 2's and then backwards and got his free ice-cream - he loved it and is now working hard on counting in 3's for his next visit. Highly recommended! Coffees and cakes are delicious. Pirate Teddy is delightful and a firm friend of Leo's. We will be back soon...

Visit the Posh Sardine for great coffee, gorgeous cakes and lovely friendly people. Sit outside on the pavement and watch the world go by or sit inside and join the friendly banter around you.

What a lovely friendly atmosphere we find on our frequent visits to this quaint gift/coffee shop. We are tempted back often. Unusual gifts and interesting antiques below stairs also. Excellent range of teas, light lunch platters, home made cakes & scones, Mrs Dowsons amazing ice cream. I could go on but this probably says it all. We shall definitely be at the Arnside Vintage on the Prom Saturday 21 June, travelling from Fylde Coast especially for the day and of course Posh Sardine where Jane Stephen & Joe will once again make us feel more than welcome. So glad we found this little tea room. We visited today for the first time and will definitely be back. After recently being told I'm coeliac, it's been hard finding places to eat out (and being able to take the dog along was a bonus). Good choice of food with plenty of gluten free options, including cake/brownies. The latte was honestly one of the nicest I've had! Super friendly staff and a very chilled atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. See you soon!

Located across the road from the promenade, pier & beach, this was the perfect place for our family reunion (including our dog) over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend. The Afternoon Tea was absolutely delicious. Sarah’s homemade baking had our family agreeing that the cakes, pastries, sausage rolls & quiche were the best that we’d ever tasted & the selection of sandwiches was incredible. Ken, Sarah & staff are so welcoming & friendly. When visiting the South Lakes, you must not miss the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon tea or at least a cuppa, cake or pastry at this delightful vintage tea room. Oh & there’s a fantastic selection of cute gift items too. We can’t wait to visit again.

We have been meaning to visit Arnside since we moved to the North West at the beginning of the year, and finally today we made it. This cafe/gift shop is a must when visiting the area. The toasted panini's were gorgeous, served with crisps, side salad and a delicious homemade coleslaw. Service was brilliant and we chatted to the team and confirmed it is also dog friendly and serves lots and lots of gluten free options, including afternoon tea. The coffee was excellent too, as were the views. We forgot to wander around the gift shop afterwards, there are lots of lovely gift items for all occasions. We will be back very soon, and more often. Thank you again for a lovely lunch and experience.

Wonderful coffee with home-made quiche and salad, followed by more coffee and Eton Mess cake. Faultless service from a small local business!
