I really enjoyed the food here, probably the best all you can eat chinesse buffet I've been to, and localy i've ate at the springwater and the one in Notts Centre in the past..
The food was fresh and not left to go dry under the lights, the chef's were constantly topping up the dishes,
There was no cross contamination of the food, and the food area was very clean and tidy.
The waitresses are quick at bringing out your drinks and offer you a jug off water with ice free of charge if you wish. They are also quick to remove your empty plate so you can get another dish.
I would definitely visit this restaurant again and highly recommend.
It was £20 for adults and £10 for children, give or take a few pence, but we'll worth it.
Came back in July and was really impressed. So much so we decided to come again today for 12pm lunch. I thought that there maybe less food with it being lunchtime but it didn't disappoint. There was still a huge array of different foods, fruits and desserts. The gentleman that was serving us said that he had only recently joined the team. He was brilliant and couldn't have asked for a nicer person. He was very attentive and always on hand without keeping us waiting for anything. Thank you so much Golden Phoenix, you are all amazing and will look forward to our next visit.
Food was amazing, with a heavy choice of meat options. I stuck to my favorites shredded chicken, duck, lemon chicken and chicken balls. Varied rice and noodles also with desert options and ice cream machine. Staff were very polite and happy to make conversation with you. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into the Golden Phoenix. Planning on returning very soon!!
I usually go to Springwater for my Chinese all your can eat, however friends wanted to try something different. This was a typical all you can eat with everything already cooked and ready to eat (So a typically buffet).
The food quality was much better than I expected with a wide variety of choice. The price was great at £18.99.
My only real issue was around the bar and getting served with drinks. The atmosphere also felt very dated.

What an incredible place. The staff were very attentive and so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and haven't had anything this good since I went to Thailand. I was astounded by the amount of choice that was available. Hats off to the kitchen for keeping it all running so smoothly. This is such a rare find these days no hesitation is recommending it.
The chicken chow main was amazing just how I like it. Thick chicken pieces long Noddles . The prawn crackers amazing! Not them thin ones. Proper thick and absolutely delicious! Love it and definitely will be going again. Thank you
Excellent choice and quality of food. The staff are excellent too, really friendly and efficient. There is so much choice from starters, freshly woked dishes and delish deserts. 😜🤩 I went with a group of 15 and there was something for everyone.... Definitely will be back again
Our first time here. The food, service and price was excellent. It was very busy but the staff were excellent and quietly efficient, clearing plates, serving drinks and keeping the buffet full. Will definitely come again.
The waiters were really hands on with sorting requests. Food was decent and the ambience was good. We celebrated a birthday dinner and they delivered on making the event special. Good one

Good selection, tasty buffet. Good customer service. I also like how they encourage diners to eat all of their plates. Love food hate waste. Eyes bigger than tums charged £5.
Had some lovely food tonight, plenty of choice ,friendly service ,absolutely worth a visit.
This was our first meal here. The food was excellent, and the service was perfect. The restaurant was extremely warm inside, and the air-conditioning had been turned off. Once staff realised I was too warm, the air-conditioning was turned back on and the staff apologised. Very friendly. We'll be back.
Lovely staff and food. However there were 1 or 2 families that were a tad abrasive... and loud. This is not a fault of the lovely environment created by the staff.
Overall a good buffer places to eat at for £18 per head. Food choose is excellent and food area kept tidy and clean. Drinks at a reasonable price's. The dinner area a bit out date, but is OK.
Went for a Thursday lunch with some friends and was pleasantly suprised.
Great selection of Chinese and Asian food in a buffet style comfortable surrounding. Very clean food and dining areas with nice friendly staff, definitely worth a visit.
