Went after work for a quick bite , ordered the cowboy burger , it was terrific best burger I've had in a long time; friendly staff, great service and excellent value for money. Would definitely go again � dessert was delicious too ��
Was there last night for date night and had their 2 steak dinners and a bottle of wine for £20 (thursday night special). Have to say it was amazing the steak was well done but still juicy, the mini mushroom and peppercorn sauce pie was lush and the service was fantastic, they couldnt have been more helpful. I've been a few times since the revamp and have no complaints at all. Would recommend the brazillian kebab too if you like a little spice �
Just back from a lovely family meal , food was spot on lots of choices, everyone was happy, our service from our waiter Mauro, was outstanding, very friendly and attentive. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back �
Well what can i say.. 1st time here and was for a Gary Barlow/TakeThat Tribute night which included a 3 course meal. Wasnt sure how it would go with the layout but WOW what a nite it was. Food amazing, hot and presented well & great value for money, staff really luvly and very attentive, also it was good to see them enjoy themselves at work too.. Tony Kay (look him up) had the whole place singing and dancing from the getgo, great night and great fun atmosphere, and that was me sober as was designated driver, Thank you Garry and the staff for an amazing nite. Will definately make a return visit for lunch or dinner. Well done all Xx
Went in on Wednesday night to try out the new menu. The old popular dishes are still there with some extra dishes added. Great choice, love the new menu. Staff very helpful as usual and the new fizz on tap is an added bonus �. Can highly recommend the Brazilian rump skewer
No more 2 4 1 but the prices are amended to reflect that - so actually works out better if there's an odd number of you
Had a great meal last night in The Rowan Tree , 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 was great value for money , would have known about the deal had our friendly server not told us “Thank You”
We've just moved to the area, and checked in to The Rowan Tree a few weeks ago. We enjoyed that visit, and now we're all decorated and settled in, and starting to get visitors, we brought my brother and sister in law for a visit too.
Waitress was great, took order in timely manner, and good was brought out quick enough too.
4 cleared plates - so the food was amazing.
Plates were cleared away soon after it was clear we'd finished, allowing us to sit and enjoy our drinks in a tidy space.
We're coming back again with the parents, next.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely, fresh and hot. Only thing that let it down was the wait between our starters and main courses. The starters came really quickly but we waited quite a while before our main course came out. So much so that another couple who had come in at the same time as had received their food, ate it and left well before we got the rest of our order

Lovely wee pub and restaurant. Booked a table in advance as wasn't sure how busy it would be midweek. We were greeted warmly and led straight to our table. We ended up asking to be moved to a new table due to the sun streaming in from the window, which was no trouble at all and we were moved immediately. Interior is spacious and open but also cozy.
Only a short wait for the food which was delicious. I had the chicken burger with chips and a side salad. Food was piping hot, fresh and tasty. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The chicken burger was full of flavour. Only nitpick would be I'd have liked a dressing on the side salad.
For dessert I had the chocolate orange sponge which was absolutely incredible. Sponge was light as air, filled with a sweet and sticky orange centre, smothered in chocolate and served warm with custard. Honestly one of THE BEST desserts I have ever eaten.
All for a very reasonable price including drinks. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
Amazing staff, very attentive. We are very happy to eat here as they pay attention to our daughter's many food allergies, as well as my gluten intolerance. The vegan and vegetarian options are nice as well, and the pastry chef is Amazing - the gluten free sticky toffee pudding is an absolute favourite!
Service by staff excellent food lovely but very skimpy portions there was 7 of us for lunch and everyone felt the same. Three got burgers but came with only a small amount of chips we also ordered a macaroni with salad and garlic bread and salad was a spoonful on the plate and it was the same with the lasagna. Everything was tasty but just a bit miserable on the sides that came with the meal. If you want to succeed at the prices you want to charge and encourage people back consider this how much does it cost for extra fries or a decent amount of salad on a plate.
Went last Monday night for a family meal we were a table of 10, staff very friendly & welcoming! Staff were also very attentive whether to check if we needed drinks or to just ask if everything was ok! Everyone enjoyed the meal & all 10 of us had something different to eat! The Rowan tree has a nice menu & not that expensive

Went for lunch had a puppy and 2 kids the menu was very good as was the kids and DOG MENU🤣very good idea. The kids pizzas were good but the chicken club sandwich was very disappointing it wasn't a club sandwich just a bacon and chicken sandwich with some wilted lettuce and a slice of tomato 😫when mentioned the staff just said thanks for the feedback 🤔our server Chris was very nice would have been 5☆ if the sandwich had been a proper club sandwich a bit of false advertising there🤔
Nice big family pub, with plenty of parking. Dog friendly. Nice clean and tidy. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Food was nice, with good sized portions, all reasonable priced.
Absolutely brilliant breakfast really enjoyed it, high quality stuff and lovely wait staff.
Would definitely eat here again
