This, rather unassuming, eatery - aptly titled The Shed - serves some amazing food that’s just perfect for anyone getting off the ferry to visit the Isle of Skye. The local crab salad, although priced at £17, is amongst the best salads that I’ve ever had! They need to advertise it more with pictures
Soup of the day (cream of mushroom) was delicious, and the potato scone was amazing!! Mum and I shared an irnbru and enjoyed the sunshine :)
we ate there after we got off the ferry, we each had a pizza that was really nice and basic it was very oily and the pepperoni was good it came hot and fresh but there were bees that kept coming to our pizzas. the view was nice and we looked at the beach while eating and the weather was nice but mak
A great spot to grab some food before you board a Ferry. We enjoyed a hot mushroom soup and some Fish&chips with fresh salad. The fish was excellent. Service very nice.
Cosy place with incredible views. They have a lot to offer but the crab salad really stood out. Usually not a huge fan of cold crabs, but this one was the best, so fresh and flavourful! If anyone visits Isle of Skye by ferry, I highly recommend dropping by this lovely place!!
The food was wonderful, it was fresh. The service was great and fast. Better than any restaurant in the area. I would definitely come here again! The view made it even better.
Nice fish and chips, not too greasey.
Amazing salad, nice mixture of salad veg and lentil, cous cous and rice salad with sweet little flowers as decoration really, good smoked trout and mussels. Failry priced and decent suzed portions. Would definitely recommend. Stunning views, relaxed atmosphere
Had a gluten free pizza from there last August, also a bacon roll and tuna salad roll as fishing pier am till late pm so pleased that they accommodated for my gluten allergy and I personally found the food delicious.will be returning in a couple of weeks.
Not only food is great and prices are logic, but the three women that manage The Shed offer a great service and care about their clients. And to be honest we found too many restaurants in Skye where the personnel don’t cares about customers, are rude, and don’t deliver as promised.
A cool little informal spot that’s a
Gem in this area of Skye!! Fish and chips were delicious. Very large serving of chips. Salad was delicious. Too windy for pics
Brilliant cup of tea! Really reasonable prices and a great view!
It seems many of the customers were waiting for the ferry! If you are using the ferry or just passing by its definitely worthy of a stop!
Although we didn't eat, the food coming out looked delicious!
It's really nice to see a small bus
Small shack where you can eat outside at the picknicktables. Smaller and bigger lunch, a little bit of waiting time, but that’s ok when you’re waiting for the ferry.
This cosy little family-run cafe with its amazing view across the Sound of Sleat is perfect for killing time while waiting for the ferry.
There is indoor and outdoor seating (space being at a premium indoors as there are only a few tables) and a good choice of menu options.
Be aware of the limited
Great place to get some well (or not) deserved fish and chips. No chique, no fancy, just some tables and chairs at the pier and good old fish and chips. Maybe one thing: a beer would've made it absolutely perfect;-)
Fish and chips were prepared quickly and tastes good although it did taste as though it was frozen and not fresh. The staff were friendly and allowed us to order and visit other shops while our food was being prepared. Prices were good and I was just pleased to get some hot food on a very rainy afte
