We stayed in room 4 weekend if 3/4th Feb. Great room, very comfy with a sofa and extra space. Staff were fantastic, the food and service was far better than we expected. Couldn’t fault it, definitely back. The lad working that evening and for Sunday breakfast is an asset to the business.
We called for tea the Friday before Christmas. There was a lovely atmosphere in the bar and the food was delicious. What made our experience though was Thomas who served us. We had 3 toddlers with us and he couldn’t do enough for us. The children warmed immediately to him and he made us feel at home
We stopped here for one night for my birthday. What a great find. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, food was gorgeous 🥰 very warm cosy vibes about it which I love. Be definitely returning with the family.
Just Lovley!! we wanted another night off the cuff the room was available but wanted to charge another £40 on top of what we were originally paying. We didn't stay such a shame as we also spent around £85 for dinner so altogether they lost out on nearly £200 for a room that was available and a meal
Was nice. But unfortunately food was cold no serving spoons and not a lot of vegetables for 4 adults. My grandson eats more.
I'm going to start this with my only small
complaint that the WiFi could be better... as to end with it would be a crime.
Soo, I stop away with work most nights and so far for £90 with breakfast this is by far the nicest room I have had, comfy bed, powerful hot shower, loads of space but still cosy
This was my first visit as I am visiting relations from London. In my experience the meal was both well cooked and presented. Decor pleasant and the staff work very hard. I would recommend a visit.

We didnt stay in a room. We had vouchers and put them towards Sunday lunch. Our first visit and wont be our last. The service and friendly staff mad it very nice. The food came out hot and in good time. Beautiful. Thank you. We will be back. 🖒☺. Steve B.
Was an absolute pleasure would definitely go again. x rooms needed a dusting and had to ask for our room hoovering as it was covered in bit, but apart from that was lovely xx
Fantastic service, incredible food, really enjoyed the featherblade yesterday, rooms are elegantly spacious and reasonable priced, would definitely return and recommend
A really nice place to eat and stay, our room was perfect and our evening meal was excellent. All staff were really friendly and certainly know how to run a pub/ b&b/ resturant. Top marks from us.
Had a great 1 night stay and a lovely meal, followed by a nice breakfast the next morning.
