We enjoyed an excellent evening meal here, when visiting the island in August. The halibut was cooked beautifully. In fact the whole meal was delicious. The cafe had a great atmosphere and the staff were delightful. Highly recommend.
Not only is the food & service excellent, they literally saved my life by getting a handbag I’d left by accident, which also contained my passport, to the ferry so it could be delivered to the ferry building in Oban. I can’t thank you enough! Great people!
Good home made food from uncluttered menu. Reasonable prices considering it is an island. Interior atmosphere is ok but not special. Separate menu has many alcoholic drinks, lemonades and tee/ coffee, however no non alcoholic beer options.
Great spot for dinner. I had the soup, which was a creative and delicious spicy carrot coconut concoction. Others in our party had the halibut (fantastic), the Korma (solid comfort food) and the langostines (fresh and delicious, but a little overwhelming). They have restricted hours/days and may not be able to accommodate walk-ins, so call ahead for reservations.
Lovely wee place. Amazing food. Friendly staff. Visited a couple of times while on Isle of Coll and will visit again next time we go.
Me and my family had such a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. The staff were lovely and squeezed an extra person in when initially we didn’t think there would be space, the food and booze were amazing. Had the most amazing lobster salad to start - and affordable too! Will come back here every time we visit Coll.
Beautiful café, with a fresh interior and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner from an inspired menu - all the food was delicious and exquisitely presented. The tasty sourdough focaccia and baked goods are all made in-house. We went back the next morning for good coffee and mouth-watering, freshly baked, sweet and buttery cinnamon buns. Highly recommended, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
Food is 5 star as is service. Freshly baked cakes, breads and local produce. Constantly changing it up with something new, different and tasty. Coffee is delish too and the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming with the most amazing view on to the Bay.
Lovely atmosphere, Sammie and Archie gave us excellent service to be proud of. The breakfast baps were extra tasty, came well cooked and in good time. Thank you Island Cafe!!
