Was a lovely high tea & good service. Home made Lasagne was a treat and so was the dessert of coconut sponge & cream plus my granddaughter liked the kids special menu too as her favourite was on.......

Take my mum here every other weekend for a brunch as they serve breakfast until 3pm !! Great for lazy weekends and the hi-tea menu looks amazing value too in addition the fresh baking for tKe away as we normally too stuffed straight after breakfast !!
The views across to Arran are amazing and it’s right by the ‘new’ Bypass for exploring further afield or down the coast to Largs and beyond !!

Take my elderly friend there for her birthday lunch every year and yesterday they remembered her how nice,and have also been with friends and hubby, the staff cannot do enough to ensure that everything is to your liking and are always pleasant and polite , highly recommend the Rowantree its top class without being over the top , love it thanks guys

Great staff, wish I could’ve eaten more. Very relaxed environment. Sometimes I get stressed taking my kids out, but this was a really nice experience for us all. Definitely recommend. 👌👌👌

Stopped off and had a high tea with my wife and a kids meal for the grandson.
Service was excellent. Food was 1st class one of the best fish teas I have had.
Value for money. I honestly don't think it could be beaten.

Very tasty food. Excellent and speedy service with food piping hot. If I could offer one small piece of advice is that supplying condiments in the small tear open package detracts from the overall standard. Maybe consider what other establishments do by providing a little tray with small dishes of condiments. The excellent scampi I had deserves a better quality tartare
We have been a few times to the Rowantree and have been impressed with the quality and quantity of the food we have ordered , the staff have all been friendly and we have all came away having had a good time .

Very enjoyable. We like to take my Father out for lunch often as he is pretty much housebound. This place was somewhere we had passed often and kept saying we would go into one day, well we eventually did and we had a lovely experience. The place was quite busy but the staff were very helpful finding a table which could accommodate a wheelchair. The staff were very nice, chatty, and polite, food was lovely and we only had a ten minute wait for it ( for 5 people) and another good thing is the fact that we weren't "chased" at the end of our meal, my Father decided at the last minute he wanted a dessert and that was no problem. It was good value for money, 5 mains, 3 desserts and 5 drinks came to £68. Definitely a place I would go back to :-)
Totally disagree with other reviews! Been here couple of times restaurant busy, the staff are very nice, location lovely, food perfect for a casual eat out. Definite recommend
Excellent place to eat . Stumbled across it by chance . Lovely food and extremely reasonable prices . Plenty of choice too . Staff were very friendly . Will certainly be visiting again next time in the area .
Great place, nice food at a decent price. The late specials with the opof cake and scones with a meal at £12.50 a head is really good. Loved the fish and chips, and the steak pie is good.
Disappointed with the service today.
I ordered 3 mayo wraps and a portion of chips to takeaway.
After waiting half an hour, the four boxes where handed to me. Not put in the usual paper bag with napkins.
Took them along to Ardrossan, opened the boxes and found 2 Mayo wraps and 2 portions of chips, no Crisps in the boxes, like we have gotten in the past.
So had to share the 2 wraps with 3 people, we were disappointed as we have been pleased with the takeaway service before and that's why we returned.
The Mayo wraps were nice.
Food was lovely and apart from not getting tartare sauce when we requested it meal was lovely. Waitress did apologize for forgetting the tartare sauce. Lovely place well worth a visit.

Food was really good. Service was a bit slow. Just felt the place was very dated. Toilets were not very clean.

Good comfort food at a good price. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. They have some monster cakes! Plenty of parking and there is a small garden centre/Christmas store which is worth a look.

Amazing.
Been coming for years and the food and staff are great. Used for family celebrations and they were happy to accommodate our larger party. Kids menu is fab and portion sizes are good. Sits right on a lovely area of the beach which is fab for a stroll to burn off that food
