Alberts is a great chip shop, food consistently great and the staff are always friendly and helpful. A bonus that I can order via the 'Just Eat' app � and delivery is always prompt.

Had the best bag of chips the night from Albert....they were well tasty

Not just your average fish & chip shop, but fresh tasty delicious hot food made to order. Yummy, well priced and a couple of great characters cooking and preparing our order.
Staff even suggested a few sea view locations to sit in our car and enjoy our hot food. Will be back for sure!
Best chippy in Ardrossan.. love it! Friendly staff and a bit of banter.. excellent food. One of the few chippies here I've found that do JUST a chicken breast not a half chicken which is a waste to me as I won't eat the leg.
Nice clean (no crumbs in batter), fresh, fried fish x 2 in puffy batter. Fried chicken and other selection of fried food and pasta dishes to takeaway. Friendly service.
Called in on way thru. Fish chips mushy peas. So good we have been talking about it ever since. Tasty good portions good value good man Albert.
Fantastic price . The fish x 2 is quality and they are big . Am in Kilmarnock and love travelling once a week just to pick up my favourite fish and chips fae alberts .

Fantastic fish and chips. Freshly made, deliciously crisp batter, cooked just right. No scrimping two good pieces of fish. Very friendly, reminds me of a good old school chippy. Would recommend.
Cash only, no notices to state this. Friendly staff. Speedy service. Had special fish and chips, fish good size, few large bones in each fish at tail section. Chips nicely cooked through. Overall delicious food to sit by the sea. Reasonably priced.
Visited for my first ever steak pie supper whilst working up in Scotland! Really enjoyed it food was freshly cooked and cheap!
My friend Mark was up from Bristol and we visited Alberts as a sentimental journey. We have been going to Alberta for 40 years + now and pleased to report the food as is as good as ever. Mark had a haggis supper and I had a black pudding supper and both were freshly cooked to order. The premises are clean, the staff are friendly and the prices most accommodating. Parking is on street outside. Great stuff, well worth a visit.
Always get a good meal from here.

Love alberts always good fish and chips. Really decent portion sizes and don't use nut oil like other chippies locally which kills my tummy! Friendly service and no long wait.
Stopped here after a visit to the beach at sunset, Google maps guide has this as the highest rated and I would agree with this assessment. Chips were just the right level of crispy and soft and the sausage that I had was not too greasy. Very crampt inside but I guess they are doing the best with what limited space they have.
