It was pretty quiet but it was a Monday and they were kind enough to let us have dinner even though it was nearly closing time for the kitchen, so fair play to them. Food was good and the waitress was great, friendly and attentive. I bet the place is really good on weekends.
1st time here, there were 4 of us out for the day Called in late in the afternoon but was really surprised, great menu and reasonably priced lovely old worldly decor and a good atmosphere

Excellent food and service in a lovely old country roadhouse-style pub - go for the chips alone!! From the photo you can see they have been hand-cut. They are double fried, I suspect in dripping, because of the wonderful taste, from local fields - a chap at the bar confirmed they were from the fie
Really sunny day called in for a wee drink. Ended up having a lovely meal, good country style food presented in a modern way. We both enjoyed it.
Lovely day out with my son. Lovely food. We had the carvery. Great service. Comfortable place to eat.

After a rainy morning we came across Currans and had a comfortable seT in the smoking area with Arlo

Chicken Curry with boiled rice very good. Service also very good. Atmosphere quiet, not many about.

Food was the best I've ever had. Such a lovely meal. Will definitely be back. As the barman said to me "You'll never leave here hungry because we have loads of local Farmers to feed".

Delicious fresh seafood and a great steak with friendly service, all set in very nice surroundings and enjoyable outdoor area, well worth a visit, would like to return again, Thanks Paddy, and Sinead from The Lighthouse Bar for the recommendation
The Food was awesome, compliments to the chef and staff
Always have a great meal here. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. They also accommodate dogs in their seating area outside.
