The Old Boatyard - Arbroath - Photo album

Recently came here for my 30th birthday meal with my family. The food is absolutely stand out - I had local mussels to start, then sea bass, most of my family had steak, and not a tiny bit was left! Everyone delighted in trying bits of each others food. Perfect. It seems to be a family business, and
Lovely restaurant with a quaint interior. Great service and friendly customer service. Lots of exciting starters. Have nice meal with the family. Nice views outside of the boat yard. Free parking just outside.
Very good. On a rainy day visit to Arbroath it was great to have some Smokies here. Views out over the sea wall /Harbour. Service was prompt and friendly. About the best venue in town (that we saw on our 1.5 hour walkabout).
Visited with my wife, children and grandchildren. The staff were really amazing, they made us so welcome and were brilliant with our very young grandchildren. The food was beautiful, as was the wine. Highly recommended
Visited today 23/12/22. Very cosy, comfortable and clean, friendly service too. Only had time to sample the hot drinks, scones and cakes although the food looked and smelt excellent. 4 rather than 5 stars as the coffee was pretty weak but that's maybe just me.
This was my first time in here. We were greeted at the door and taken to our seats. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help with any enquiries we had. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, and with the sun shining, there was a very nice chilled out feel to the place. The food was
Fantastic staff - waitress was so kind and helpful to us - we need to use toilet in visitors centre ( where restaurant is) even though we weren't customers at that point. So we decided to come back for meal just cos of staff. Boy how happy I was when I saw their menu 😍gluten free options+crab soup,
Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Made a mistake with one meal - owned that mistake and could not have been more attentive and apologetic. It doesn't always have to run smoothly to have an enjoyable evening and the family who run the restaurant certainly made our evening very enjoyable. Would h
Good food and drinks. Lovely location BUT if you visit with dogs expect to be sent to an outside seating area around the side of the building where smokers are also sent. This despite the front seating area, where the harbour view is, being large and, on our visit, completely empty. Disappointing
Amazing and fresh seafood! Nice view at the outdoor sitting! We were on a road trip and gave the place a try! Will definitely come back to visit. The lobster is really fresh and affordable too 🦞
Good sea food with a sea view and friendly staff.
Yummy scones, fast and friendly service. The views and slick running of the place made it easy to relax, right by the harbour, plenty of parking. They have a varied and well priced menu, plenty of tables or a couch area. We'll be back!
Just sat out one Autumn afternoon, coffee, tea and cakes, watching a storm pass by out at sea. Served by a really welcoming waitress, who couldn't do enough for us - even offering blankets as we were sat outside. Restaurant looked lovely.
