Honestly what a lovely cafe. From the moment we arrived, two adults and three children, we were made to feel most welcome. It’s as though you have gone to a friends house. The service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. There is a box of toys for the kids and the cutest kids plates and cups. The food was lovely and sensibly priced. We will return!

A delicious breakfast - freshly cooked and piping hot. We also bought some lovely cheesecake to take away for later which was also very tasty.

Popped in for second breakfast whilst en route to Shap 🚲 very welcoming, showing me where to park my bicycle, quick service, teapot replenished without needing to ask. Lovely atmosphere, would recommend wholeheartedly.
