Honestly what a lovely cafe. From the moment we arrived, two adults and three children, we were made to feel most welcome. It’s as though you have gone to a friends house. The service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. There is a box of toys for the kids and the cutest kids plates and

A delicious breakfast - freshly cooked and piping hot. We also bought some lovely cheesecake to take away for later which was also very tasty.

Popped in for second breakfast whilst en route to Shap 🚲 very welcoming, showing me where to park my bicycle, quick service, teapot replenished without needing to ask. Lovely atmosphere, would recommend wholeheartedly.

Gorgeous little hidden gem. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Very child friendly too, they even had a box of toys ready to entertain our little one. The brie and bacon tart was delicious. Would definitely recommend to others.

Having been here again with the new owners I can say Tastes of Eden has massively improved. Staff were attentive to details and requests about alternative milks and the food was spot on. Called in as the cheesecake looked amazing. The lady who served me was very friendly and cut me a decent sized piece to take away. It was absolutely delicious the best cheesecake I've ever tasted On holiday in the area so will pop in for more!

I stumbled across the cafe while it was pouring with rain on a trip in Appleby. It is such a lovely calm environment. The price for the quality and quantity of food is fantastic. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome by Helen - thank you so much :)
