Called in after walking up Dufton Pike to the gate. It was busy, but the ladies who run it were very friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the food was excellent. We had our dog with us and they made a big fuss of him giving him treats. Would highly recommend visiting if you are up this way. We are definitely going to be going back.

I was taking part in the Spine race and they stayed open late to serve me the best Cheeseburger I've ever eaten before going over Cross Fell. They were so lovely, they even gave me a home made flapjack as I left and I eat that when I got to the top of Cross Fell, to celebrate getting up there, even if was blowing a hoolie! Thanks guys!

We called in after a walk for refreshments and I had a milkshake and cake. They were both delicious and the staff were super friendly

Dropped in on Good Friday and ordered breakfasts all round. All food is cooked to order and we got in behind a few big group orders but it was worth the wait.

We popped in here after our walk round Dufton Pike. Lovely service and the panini and tea was really hot and very tasty.

Lovely welcoming cafe where we had a very good English breakfast before venturing up High Cup Nick in the pouring rain. The breakfast was generous, hot and delicious. The Americano coffee was good too and the two ladies serving us were very friendly. We'll definitely be back to try the delicious home made cakes that were on offer.

Great cup of coffee after a long walk. Sandwiches and panini's available but we plumped for a gorgeous lemon cake and malteser traybake. Everyone was very friendly and the view down the village was stunning.

This is a lovely little cafe. I was very fortunate to get in before they closed after being open for hours catering for the Spine Race. Such an amazing fry up they provided too with coffee orange juice and flapjack for a reasonable price. It was beautiful and just what I need to fuel me up in readiness for Crossfell. Thanks so much. 😁🀀

Just right for the end of a walk over the top from Langdon Beck on a hot day. Friendly service, nice tea, excellent local ice creams. The location in the centre of the village could not be better.

Excellent food and service. Very reasonable pricing. Free WiFi too. Great to stop at mid walk or if you are doing a circular walk from the village. We will certainly call again when in the area.

Disappointed to find the place shut last Friday after we biked 20 miles to get there (10.30). No problem, we went to Acorn Bank instead!
