Karen and the whole team couldn’t have done enough for us. Even helped us arrange transport to/from Dufton which is approx 2 miles away. Two course meal was superb quality and good value. Highly recommend the Mason Arms and hope to visit again one day.

The Masons Arms Long Martin is the only establishment in the town. The staff are fabulous and friendly. We ate there 2 nights running as the food was so good and well priced.

Great welcome, lovely ambiance in a beautiful location. Nothing to much trouble with our fussy 2 year old or my lactose intolerant mother. Sunday dinner was delicious, would definitely suggest the lamb! All in all well worth a visit, will return if in the area. Great job to the management and staff.

Went here last week Tuesday valentines night, the food and staff were exceptional and at only £12.50 for 3 courses I think it's very hard to beat, we want back on Thursday before we finished our holiday for another meal, excellent again, 5 stars without a doubt 👍

Brilliant service and super friendly staff. Very generous portion and even more generous in price. Have decided to book another meal even before we paid the bill.

One word to sum this place up..... wow. I honestly don't get any of the negative reviews on here. We're not local and rugby was on and had no issue with any of the regulars and were very welcoming as were the staff.... As for the food.... OMG, kids portions would be suitable for a teenager let alone my 5 year old she went for fish and chips and enjoyed every bit of it. As for me I went for Ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce... the steak was so good it felt criminal to use the peppercorn sauce but the sauce was on another level. The mushrooms were perfect as were the chips the only personal preference would be a more cooked tomato but where else could they improve if there wasn't something. Highly recommend one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Stayed in Long Marton this weekend for our anniversary and the Masons was about a 5 min drive from the pod, rang in advance to book for food and the lady was super helpful. I got the meat feast pizza which was massive (didn’t think I’d finish but powered through) and the Mrs got a sriracha chicken burger, with salt and pepper fries to share. Very glad we went here for our anniversary meal as it was perfect! Warm, friendly, the service was excellent and very quick. Staff are top notch, if we’re in the area again we’ll be sure to visit again. Many thanks!

Absolutely great village pub, food is exceptional, Sunday roasts to die for. We love a steak and ale pie, but I can honestly say, they serve up the 'best' steak pie we have ever had! Lovely friendly staff, and everybody who comes into the pub says hello, and is chatty if you want it. Really good community pub!

Great friendly village pub. The sunday roast was very good - tasty, very well cooked veggies and large portions - and great value for money. And dog friendly.

We have been to the Mason's Arms many times and they never dissapoint. It's a lovely characterful oldie worldie pub and there is always a warm welcome from the owner and the team. They have a good menu which offers plenty of choice as well as a good range of beers. I am particularly fond of the 'Dirty Fries' which are absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend the Mason's Arms, it is definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.
