Exellent authentic halal Pakistani and Indian food , owners are Originally from Bradford , Top service by staff , food served on warm plates and very reasonably priced. Almost better then most London restaurants I’ve been too. Worth the journey 👍🏼
Visited on a Friday evening, the place was very quiet with only 3 other diners, however there was a steady stream of takeaway customers.The decor and atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are very nice and efficient. The food was great and very tasty with plenty of choice, I would definitely return.
Excellent 'Authentic' Indian food.
This was our second trip to Appleby, and dinner here was a must, same good friendly and helpful service. Good value, we had Starters and Mains with extras and still just over £30 for two. Very busy with delivery orders so locals are obviously impressed too. Rest

Spent one evening in Appleby and wanted an early meal. We weren’t disappointed: food excellent, service excellent and what’s more it was very economical. We loved it, food was to die for they are so accommodating and happy to make suggestions and adjust spice levels. Service was attentive and friendly and really engaging. Overall just a brilliant place, we will be back.
We visit this wonderful restaurant once every year. My family love Lake district so we come all the way from Birmingham, finishing touch to a beautiful weekend is the food and fantastic service from Ashiana. Food was spot on should book a table if you thinking off going we had to wait 2 hours for a table but was well worth the wait. Staff was very friendly and welcoming
Quality food and friendly service. Very flavourful dishes that were of a good size and price. I’ve eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants and this is up there with the best I’ve been to. Will certainly be returning.
the food was amazing - rich, tasty and spicy and our waiter made some great recommendations from the menu. a lot of the dishes are unique and created by the chef. we recommend the Imlea and the Jal Masala!
Food equal to anything I've tasted in London. Some unusual dishes from southern and eastern India. Friendly service and impeccably clean. Loved it.
Good food and location, excellent service
We couldn't get a table as they was fully booked so we opted for a takeaway. Said would be an hour on the phone so we went to get it an hour later and was worth the wait. Lovley would defo recommend 👌
You can tell that the dishes have been created and prepared by a chef who loves to produce top quality dishes. The mix of flavours was excellent in every dish we had. Also the portions are generous. Highly recommended.
After moving from Kent to Cumbria we weren't sure if we’d find an Indian that could match the ones down south… we were wrong.
This place is amazing, very glad it’s our local Indian restaurant and we will continue to buy from there regularly.
