Fabulous location and a very warm welcome. Spectacular views regardless of the weather and very cosy and welcoming inside. Impressive menu with some nice twists on classic dishes. Plenty to choose from as well as their specials daily. We are going back in a few weeks and I think there may be more return visits. The Creagan is on a marvellous motorbike route which took us from home to Inveraray then on through Appin onwards. Opening times are great for Scotland as meals are served from midday through to evening so You don’t have to rush to go for a meal. They serve coffee/tea and scones from 10:30am for the early birds! I would recommend a day out in the area as the scenery is simply gorgeous.

Fabulous location and excellent food. I was really pleased to find Vegetarian Haggis on the menu. I can't eat cheese and normally the "vegetarian option" contains cheese so this was a real treat. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. Sadly we were only in the area for a week but will definitely visit again on our next trip to Scotland.

Spent time with family for lunch on 2nd of October The day was dreich and windy outside but we were lovely and cosy inside, the woodburning stove put out lots of heat. Very welcoming owner and attentive staff. The food is delicious and plenty of it. Those with dogs are most welcome. I had been on several occasions but my sister Kay visiting from Canada and brother Derek and his wife Mary hadn't. I certainly will be back. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

Enjoyed our meal with a fabulous view. Unfortunately there were a few things unavailable from the menu (3 of the 4 things we initially chose. Alternatives were nice, the loaded fries and salad were the best from our selection. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere although quiet, was pleasant! Stunning views outside.

A truly wonderful pub and restaurant right on the loch side. Lots of outdoor seating looking down Loch Cregan. In the summer the seals pop up to watch you. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is superb such a warm welcome and friendly service. Dog friendly and a stone beach for the kids to play on x

It was the perfect "Scottish bar experience" my wife and I wanted while on our honeymoon here. Lovely owner/manager Ross, as well as the chef and other bartender were both great as well. Reasonable prices, great whisky flights, and good food as well! Deck with an awning and a beautiful view of the water. We would love to come back someday.

Having recently stayed in Appin for just over a week, I visited the Creagan Inn 4 times and was never disappointed. The staff was efficient, friendly, and engaging. I had their fish and chips, as well as the Cullen Skink, both of which were excellent. There is a large outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy your meal and a gorgeous view of Loch Linnhe, yet plenty of indoor seating should you want to escape the elements outside. I will most definitely return.

New owners are serving sheek cleaver flavor twists on the menu with witty conversation. GREAT whiskey selection and knoweledge with best prices we've found! Sit outside or walk down to the water of beautiful Loche Creran. Outside seating is expansive with a rain cover over most.

Found this place while we were on holiday, close to where we were doing a walk. Absolutely stunning outside seating area right by the loch. Beautiful views and we were able to sit in the shade or the sun. The staff were super friendly and made a big fuss for our dog. The food was superb and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Sit on the terrace for lovely views of the loch - and it's dog friendly. The menu looks good, but we haven't eaten here yet.

What a fabulous find! Let's start with the lovely warm and friendly welcome. We arrived with our 3 dogs, and received a warm welcome and bowl of water for the dogs. The menu - phenomenal for vegetarians and vegans, and possibly the best menu I've ever seen. The food arrived quickly and freshly prepared and was generous portions and beautifully cooked. There's a good range of beers, and the IPA was really nice. Even the music is great. To be honest 5* isn't enough. I'm really impressed with this place, and to top it all off the views are breathtaking - in the rain and sunshine.
