Best bar in the area - no doubt about that.
The bar staff were faultless, atmosphere was brilliant and the interior of the bar is great - so bright and modern, but with plenty of character and nods to the ship in the name. Excellent selection of beers on draught (Cruzcampo is now my favourite lager) and the verdita shot to go with the tequila was a unique treat!
One note to the owners - get new photos of the interior on Google Maps and any other sites you can be found! The bar looked like a nice wee find as it was, but the renovation has taken the place to a new level!

Professional and friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome at their bar. The customers are friendly and approachable, lots of great conversations. The Ship Tavern is exactly what you’re looking for in a local pub with a fun environment. It’s a must if you’re in Anstruther!
Popped in here for a quick pint yesterday. The place has been refurbished to a high standard. Good staff, but not the cheapest pint in town. I'd still ghly recommend it though.
