Lovely wee pub, and the food was fantastic! Beautiful fish and chips. Haddock was melt in the mouth and proper home made chips! Also recommend the tempura prawns, chicken strips and mac and cheese. staff were really friendly. This was a random decision as our original choice was closed but wow! Wh

Had an amazing Lunch..!! If Seafood Chowder is on the Menu then it is a must 😊...no photo to show as I couldn't wait to get stuck into it. Fish was delicious and not over done in some cases of Battered Haddock.

Had another amazing meal here the other night. We never liked the seat we had reserved for us. This wasn’t a problem for the staff here. I had the delicious chowder as usual. Been eating this here for years. This was possibly the best yet. Followed by the fish & chips. All cooked masterfully by Grah

Staff were disinterested as we had children with us and the young guy with the green hair was rude. Served coffee in a dirty cup and didn't change it when asked, not sure he had any idea about customer service. Dingy and dated inside, plenty of other good places nearby to go - avoid this dump

Went in tonight for dinner, place was empty bar 2 tables. Asked for a table for myself, daughter and dog. Got told they were fully booked. Not a reservation sign anywhere on any table!!! Stayed here - good room with a lovely view and comfy bed. A disappointing shower that lacked any useful pressure. Ate here - good food and good service.

Spent hogmanay in here and it was fantastic!!! Seafood chowder was incredible and the haddock and chorizo fishcakes amazing, food was served piping hot and the staff were on the ball. Table service all night and all covid rules followed. Credit to all the young staff that were on, brilliant night. T
